Kind of my thinking. Plus I want defense

Also, unless KP has a revelation in regards to passing I want a player that can get assists especially if KP is starting out his career as a finisher.

how about we focus on guys under 28?
I think our greatest need is PG, a PF lunch pail type that can clean up the boards, and then athletic wing defenders with 3 pt capabilities.
I don't think we should be hung up on finding guys that have done it at the NBA level - theyre going to get paid. Save some money, take a gamble kinda like we did with some older Euro types, some NBDL types that might fit the system, play roles and contribute to the greater good.
I love Chandler and Gallo - but unless they are coming on vet min type deals - Jennings type money - $5M 1 year type deals, I'd say pass.
Good luck with that- the CBA means players 28 and over and about to get overpaid, are really the only ones you have a chance of landing- players are locked into a 5yr rookie deal, then extended or signed via restricted free agency. First chance you have of landing them is what, 8, 9 years into their career.

I know - I'm looking for guys that are undrafted, not yet discovered.
Just like Briggs wanted us to sign Seth Curry. Draft players, fill in with guys like that- take a chance.
We've done ok with finding those kinds of players - Lance Thomas, Langston Galloway.
