4Q - 0:00
PHI 105 NYK 102
huge huge huge loss for the #tank
I WAS WRONG! THE TANK LIVES!!!
Great game. Team gave a good effort. We needed the loss though. Keep tanking baby.
Finally Melo did something right - he sucked!! WHOOO
Wow. Anderson makes the Sixers really unlikeable. Saric, Anderson, Covington and Embiid is a really good foundation for a team. Anderson reminds of Bass/Crowder.
Yes Yes Yes Oh right, we lost...I'm supposed to be unhappy.
This was good...right, folks?
Simmons and a healthy Embiid make the Sixers a force in the east next year. Biggest question is Embiid's health.

Bs nixluva you thought we were going on a massive run of wins for the playoffs. Nice way to get started by losing to the sixers😼

They have stunk for so long that they have a LOT of talent. Crazy that they're still in the Lottery and have a ton of picks. They'll be thanking Hinkie at some point.
I still can't believe the Knicks and how they manage to make a game that should be easy so difficult. It never fails.
can't understand why they don't run plays for kp...This is not just on the players, losing 14 games by less then 3 points.

That is an unbelievable stat. Also, a lot of those games the 2 minute report would change the outcome.

Injuries, again. Embiid hurt once more, and Simmons can't even get on the court this year.

WTF are you talking about? I thought they would win and they didn't so I made a joke about it. What's BS about it? I actually WANT the team to TANK or have you forgotten? I actually gave this team too much credit. This is a game they should've won no question about it. They let the Sixers out hustle them and Saric made some great passes.
Also stop with the exaggeration, "massive run of wins"? I said they have an easy schedule and should win a lot of these games and HAVE A SHOT to make the playoffs. Go read what I've written. I NEVER made a guarantee they'd make the playoffs. I said if they win games they'd BETTER make the playoffs rather than just missing. That's what I've been writing recently.

I think keeping Simmons off the court is smart. But they are winning a bit and they are doing it without vets. How bad did the rest of the nba miss on Covington when he was in the dl?

KP did have a nice slashing cut to the basket on the play Rose got the ball to Melo and he missed the shot with 3 seconds to go.
Someone like James would have gotten the ball to Porzingis on that cut...Rose does not have the confidence to do it.

Melo has the fifth worst field goal percentage in the LEAGUE in the fourth quarter of games.
Yes that's a fact. Sixers commentaors brought it up. They were talking about it early in the fourth. Then I saw the statistic.
Scary. We pay a guy 25 million a year to be the franchise player, he plays like he's Kobe Bryant or MJ and he has the talent, but when it comes to prime time he is one of the worst shooters in the league. What the hell is wrong with us.
We have to find a cure for this. I can not stomach another season of Melo ball like this. Phil needs to get someone in who has enough of an alpha personality to push Melo to the second option role, or find a way to get Melo to waive his NTC. There is no transforming Melo. He is who he is. Tonight was a perfect example. The team was playing well. Rose. KP. Thomas. All were on. Yet down the stretch Melo still takes the shots, and shoots over 2 defenders. It's just stupid basketball.
I hope this is the last hurrah for Melo as the man as a Knick. If he returns next year, I hope he is playing a secondary role to a new alpha/leader of the team.
On the flip, I'm quite impressed with Rose's adapting to the Triangle and picking his spots. Even his defensive effort has improved. It could all be a ploy to get a massive pay day, which I obviously pass on. But I like what Rose is bringing to the table the last 2-3 weeks. We won't easily be able to replace the drive and kick game he has, or the easy way he can score on the break.
