Holy crap, the Nets scored 80 points on the Sixers... IN THE FIRST HALF

That's crazy.

Sweet jesus, the Magic actually had a three point lead over the Cavs at halftime. Cavs came out and toasted them 43-20 in the third quarter.

Done - they just killed it today. Worthless win.

The Bulls were so putrid today that it probably wouldn't have mattered but i really didn't need to see Melo playing 37 minutes and scoring 23 points. Remember a couple of weeks ago when i said I could live with the Knicks going 3-6 over their final 9 games but were really worried about them going 4-5 or 5-4. Well, now they are 3-2 with 4 games left--one of them being a given win against the 76ers.

It's really all about the #6 spot right now and the Knicks are going to win 2 more games this season so they will need help. Let's hope the Kings win tonight.

Seriously, how bad is the NBA in that teams like the Pacers and Bulls might actually make the playoffs.

Kings win! And they still have a game left against the Lakers and Suns, too. Hopefully we can stay ahead of them in the tank. I don't think we can catch Orlando or Philly at this rate.

They have a game against the Lakers. The Lakers are tanking harder than anyone so they don't fall out of the top three and lose their pick. That's all I got.

We got Wizards, Grizzlies, Raptors and the 76ers. Washington and Raptors will kill us but idk about Grizzlies though. For the 76ers game, we should just call up our second string from Westchester.

They have a game against the Lakers. The Lakers are tanking harder than anyone so they don't fall out of the top three and lose their pick. That's all I got.

It would be fun if the Nets win two more for a three way tie at the top.

I'm pretty worried, looking at the tank standings and remaining schedule:

4) Sixers 28-51
Remaining games: Bucks, Pacers, Knicks

5) Magic 28-51
Remaining games: Pacers, Bulls, Pistons

6) Knicks 30-50
Remaining games: Raptors, Sixers

7) TWolves 31-48
Remaining games: Lakers, OKC, Rockets

8) Kings 31-48
Remaining games: Rockets, suns, clips

9) Mavs 32-47
Remaining games: Suns, Denver, Griz

The good news is we can't fall lower than 9th, the bad news is that there is a real risk of falling to 9th. I'm assuming we win the Sixers game, because thats the sort of stuff we seem to like to do at the end of a tanking season. Bulls and pacers are battling for the final playoff spot, so I don't see the Sixers or Magic losing again this season.

The three key games are:

Twolves vs Lakers (and the way the lakers seem intent on self destructing wins lately thats no given at all)
Mavs vs Suns (you would hope the suns go all out to lose this one because otherwise they could fall to 3rd)- if Mavs win we can't drop any lower than 8th.
Kings vs suns
Knicks vs sixers

If we beat the craptors, it's game over and we are really screwed. If the Twolves lose to the lakers and the Kings lose to the suns we are screwed again and could fall to 8th with the coin toss.

I suspect after all this drama we'll end up with the 7th spot, AGAIN! Really annoying as we could so easily have been looking at the 4th spot.

Let's just hope we lose to the Raptors on Sunday, and that the Kings beat the Suns and the Timberwolves beat the Lakers. If those three things happen, we clinch the #6 spot.

I really thought the Kings would beat the Lakers tonight.

I did too- looks like Sunday is a big night for the tank- our game vs craptors, Twolves game vs Lakers, Mavs vs Suns

What is ghe rule if we are tied with the twolves kings and mavs?
Whoever won the season series is above the other in the standings?!?!?

Nope, unfortunately it's just settled with a coin toss, which is why tying with those other teams is so dangerous
