By the way I'm still ticked off they didn't show Galactus in the Fantastic Four movie with the Silver Surfer
I'm a huge fantastic four fan. I'm disappointed overall with the way they just wrote off the comic. The movies were so pathetic. I really hope they plan on getting then involved after this infinity war thing. I hope marvel gets their rights back and make a tradition version.
Fox will never give the rights back.
I wonder how the "Future Foundation" works into that equation 🤔....
Technically it isn't the fantastic four. Might be a good way to rebrand into tv's films
Gaps Galore: well here we go again, backing up the truck and hopefully Melo drives it out of town. If we look at a bench there is plenty to choose from: Kuz, OQuinn, Lance, Baker, Holiday, Randle. Some of that bunch should be used to secure picks, and of course, I'd be pleased for a first rounder for Melo in 2019, 2020, because rest assured
Jamal Murray or Jaylen Brown won't be parted with.
Yet what about our STARTERS? Play it out. KP at 4 till he builds up a bit, Lee at a 2 (SG), (or traded), Willy in the hole at 5, maybe D Fox to start at PG at 19-20, and then what. ? We need firepower. A two way SG that can fill it up. A lethal 3? It ain't Kuz. So even if Fox works out or Monk or someone else, we are missing starting talent.
Perhaps securing Jrue isn't optimal but maybe prudent-but then again NO won't let him go. Willy and KP and a young dynamic PG will help but Courtney Lee ain't gonna score 20+ and Guard Butler and Paul George or Leonard.

Is the point that we can't build a complete team in one draft? I mean is that even the most important thing to worry about??? You build one brick at a time. The Knicks will have plenty of time to keep adding talent.
I have seen only two building blocks so far and the rest are just a roll of the dice which is okay. They should've cut Sasha and added another lotto ticket.

Remember they have time to do all of that! KP is 21 and we have 3 picks and Cap Space.

The next 2 drafts will really dictate the future of the team. If we can find another all star caliber player to fit next to KP and another good rotation player, then you have 4 great pieces and that's how you lay the foundation for a great team. Can't have any misses. The teams who successfully build thru the draft are able to land their core players within consecutive drafts, such as GS or OKC. It must be done in a 3-4 year span so you have a core on the same time line and zero wasted picks.
