Here is my list--emphasis on two way players with big athletic bodies and really good 3 point shooters
#1 Dillon Brooks G 6-6 225 love this guy--should be a top 20 pick but hes being discounted--I like him so much that I would consider him if John Collins and Miles Bridges were off the board up in the 1st rd.
#2 Semi Ojeleye F--I think what the Knicks wanted when they went after Ndour is Semi---6-8 235 pound SF who can defend big NBA 2 3 and 4 --could also go rd 1
#3 Zeek Woodley G 6-3 210 This years steal great shooter from all over the court and one of the most athletic players coming into draft good rebounder/defender--looking at pick 57 as priority pick there
#4 Hassan Martin F--not a top 60 draft player but undrafted big athletic KENYON Martin type 6-8 240 with high vertical and expanding offensive game/solid defense and rebounding
*Josh Hart and Caleb Swanigan--think they will be 1st rounders.

We have so many wholes - that depending on where we land in the first round, it might almost make sense to trade back if we can add a second rounder to a late first rounder.
As always Briggs, you find legit talent that a FO should not sleep on.
Hoping Phil continues to find gems & I hope they're not too focused on Euro talent that they over look some better athletes, because we need athletes!

The Euro's have done well in the system they want to run such as KP and Willy. But we've also gotten Lance, O'Quinn and Randle who fit the system because of their skills but have better athleticism/tools to play defense than say Kuzminskas, who is more of a typical Euro that does not play enough defense. I don't mind drafting more Euro's so long as they bring some defensive contributions to the team. KP is an elite rim protector. Willy is a good rebounder, but needs to move into his spots and take charges quicker.
I definitely agree with Briggs that the team needs to focus on defense and athleticism this summer. One more thing I'd like to see is that they scout players that like to move off the ball. The type of role player they may be able to get with a second round pick is Justin Holiday. Good athlete. Defensive ability. Can knock down an outside shot. Moves comfortably off the ball.

I like ball fultz Jackson and Tatum but I'm sour on the group after that. I'm more interested in team building. I'm much higher on john collins than almost anyone I know and would be willing to pull the trigger of the draft came out a certain way irregardless of what we have on the roster if bridges is gone and there is no trade down scenario than I'd simply say he's our fourth big -- move down and focus on making our perimeter defense and floor spacing much improved. Someone said let's pay Patty Mills this and this and I'm like no let's find our own Patty Mills type where we have them salaried controlled. Look at my suggestion in draft last year Malcolm Brogdon and Derrick Jones jr-- that would've been a coup and if we added seth curry the Knicks had the best offseason last year for char as well. Well we need athletic infusion no doubt in my mind-- guys who will conform to roles and team play on both ends. Don't need to be a star need to fit a role

Wish we could move the 2nd rounders to get a first, but if we don't, Phil needs to draft not for potential, but known quantity type of players who can contribute immediately and then be moved for a 1st rounder.

Hassan Martin has that old school game Zack Randolph type game. Woodley is good too, but I would go after players that can create handle the ball Brooks makes a lot of sense. Hart is my first choice in the second round if available. But the ines you mention are nice players.

Draft BPA with high IQ and two way skills and all this noise about the system will go away. Kids that want to be good will shine in any system. The draft should not focus on the system but on skills, IQ and defense.

It's all about GOOD players. The Triangle is a bit more dependent on having lots of Multi skilled players. Gaines is probably salivating over all the quality prospects in this draft. There should be plenty of Knicks workout stories this summer!!! 😁

Grayson Allen is balling right now... I'm not too high on Duke players this year period but I'd consider him with a second. Lance Thomas was the same type of personality at Duke and he's working out here. I think Allen would've been a first round pick if he declared last year. Might as well buy low

man grsyson Allen is so damn hateable, but i gotta admit im surprised he isn't getting much draft hype. i guess he just isn't really elite at anything to make him stand out. just cant see him doing what he does now against nba defense.

The 2nd one is a garbage pick better off taking a Euro and praying he can play in 3 years
