I listened to the first couple of minutes and didn't get anything out of it... anything else interesting?

They covered a lot. The talk a lot about the Jazz and cover the Bulls and Twolves. At the 29 minute mark they start talking about the Knicks. They speculate on Hornacek's job, Marks mentions that he could see KP's agent starting to push for the Knicks making changes, they talk triangle and point guards in the draft.

The whole PG and Triangle talk to me never made sense.

Phil had dominant SGs on his team, all world guys, plus some dominant/all world big men. Never had a dominant PG and the assumption is that that type of player would never work. I don't get that.

Here's the thing, if you have a 6-5 or 6-6 "PG" like Fultz or Ball they will be used in the Kobe/MJ role!!! A kid like Fultz will NOT be hidden in the corner like Fisher on the Lakers. He would STAR in this Triangle just like Kobe and MJ. That was supposed to be what Rose brought to the table but he's a horrible team player and gives no effort on D. I grow tired of this Meme that the Triangle kills PG's. Another thing is who says they want a PG in this draft. They probably want a Point Forward type like Josh Jackson.

The Knicks are losing but they are not the disaster that these Media guys try to present. IMO the problem is guys like Melo and Rose not buying into Team ball or defending at a high enough level. The team is LITERALLY better when they're not on the floor. Not that we don't need talented front line players! Just not Melo and Rose!!! Replace them with younger studs that play on both ends and have a Team Game and you'll see this team improve.

This isn't rocket science. They simply need to build a new core foundation and move forward from there. No quick fix Big Name players are gonna come here, so draft well and build this thing right.

These podcast guys have no special credibility... same with the regular talking heads on radio. I don't care what any of them think. I value what is said in this forum more than those bozos.

I love Marks. He is one of my favorite follows on twitter. He knows agents, other execs and the cba because he was working in a front office until just recently. He isn't a guy with an ax to grind or a beat reporter. Opinions are just that but he is very knowledgeable.
