what era of basketball are we building for?
In terms of today's NBA - I'd be picking Camby over Ewing, regardless of money differences.
Mark Jackson, Allen Houston, Latrell Spreewell, KP & Camby.
Stephon Marbury ($4), Allan Houston ($5), Wilson Chandler ($1), Kristaps Porzingis ($2) and Marcus Camby ($3)
If these guys are all in their prime and we're playing in today's era, you want individuals that can space the floor, move without the ball, drive and defend. To that end, my roster could do all the above. My only concern would be a lack of shot creators should Marbury be gameplanned for. Other than that, we'd be deadly during the regular season.
Crawford, Sprewell, Gallinari, Camby, Kristaps....
I guess we're building for this era or just build what you think would be the best team in any era even though there's a pretty big difference.

I would see Felton as a Charlie Ward/Chris Childs kind of PG for that group.
I loved Nate, but face it, he was nuts.

Ewing, KP6, Gallo, The Mayor, Spree - Spree can guard the PG and 3(Gallo, The Mayor, Spree) can play point forward.
BUT...for this game...I think the best lineup due to limitations on money would be...
Camby, KP6, Gallo, Spree, Rose. Those are 3 tall front court players that will bother a lot of teams defensively. We have enough 3 pt shooters in KP6, Spree and Gallo to spread the floor. Plus, the pressure Rose and Spree would put on the defense on their 1 man fast breaks would be deadly. We would suck on half court sets though with Rose at the point. I guess we can have Spree or Gallo run the point.
I know we have a set $ limit, which handicaps who we could build with but I'm shocked people would want any part of Raymond Felton. For significant stretchs, I felt he was in contention for worst Knick of all-time that actually played. He was a lazy piece shit for us and I'm glad I could begin erasing him from my memory.
