I would definitely consider it at this point. I like Rose. He wants to win. He needs more effort on D. But he could be an excellent sixth man for us. Not sure if he would be okay with that.
Nah cut ties with him. I would consider him ONLY if he comes off the bench and a small 1 year contract. However we need a true point guard
For me, it'll depend a lot on how the draft goes.

The system and the confusion throughout the season, the knicks cangrab a solid pg in the draft and use rose as a combo guard, 12 to 13 mill, 3 yr team option

I think this was always suppose to be a 1 year thing unless we had success this year. The problem is that rose does 1 thing very well and that's it. Better off moving on

He seems to be playing like an All-Star the last few games.
I don't think i ever seen rose smile on the court..like ever, not even in college..

I was just thinking the same thing when the camera cut to him after he got that lucky roll and the buzzer and he didn't even smirk lol

So your not going to take the 10 new players, new coach and a very difficult system, the confusion on which style to play. All that to deal with, plus the trial.. his talent is not a dime a dozen

It's a big game. Gotta give ourselves the best chance to win (the tank)
KP is better defender at the 4 than Melo.
Ok. Can you provide numbers to support that. Thought everyone already agreed KP is not good at 4 and Melo is better at 4?
I did a couple days ago, remote right now.
Tonight is a good example/test. As these are the types of 4's he has trouble with. Harris lit him up last game. But lets see how he does the rest of the game.
See my last post on the last page, its on 82games.com
Per 48? A bit off. But fair enough. However, Melo held opponents to 34% shooting vs 37 for KP. Insightful to see that at the 5 KP allowed 60% shooting and 19.9. Wow. And I have always said its vs stretch 4's. Which there are more of every year. He just gives them too much room trying to watch the lane.
I've complained about the last item many times this year, but some of that has to do with our poor perimeter D. This is also a coaching issue...but he continues to want to patrol the lane, which is very frustrating at times.
Orlando coming back. Down by only 4.
Someone please tell the Knicks to stop playing beautiful, selfless basketball!

I admit I'm not a Rose fan but I gave him a fair shot. I just don't think he fits what we need other than driving to the hoop. Now I would consider him coming off the bench but I doubt he wants that or would sign for that
KP has played some great D in this game

Yeah, also his first time playing outside his hometown other than one year in college. I dunno, I'm not as opposed to re-signing him. If he wants to try to build something here... why not? Couldn't he play alongside De'Aaron Fox?
