I actually hate articles like this and of course he comes up with ridiculous things that he calls clues that KP made about him wanting out but i don't believe it at all and think KP will absolutely re-sign with the Knicks when he's ready to.

Every great young player plays on a bad team. Phil and melo are on borrowed time in ny. His instagram says "Knick for life". There is literally nothing to ever be concerned about. People just making articles to get clicks. All indication is KP is committed to being the guy to bring ny back.
100% premature. So much can change between now and then that it's not worth worrying about at this point.
Isn't he a restricted free agent in 2019?

Yes, that's why articles like this are ridiculous - how many very good rookies don't either extend before they reach restricted free agency or get matched if they do?

So dumb. KP will most certainly be maxed out or close to it. The only question will be is he worth it. The only reason he's off the Knicks is if we trade him. No rookie doesnt. The closest was Greg Monroe and they didnt want to pay him.

The more Zinger gets hyped and more press in NY, the more Melo will openly freeze him out on the court. If it's one thing that Melo can't stand ( besides playing team ball) is not being the absolute center of attention.
He can get paid anywhere. At some point, you have to ask yourself if getting paid the absolute most is the top priority. Guys can sign a one year deal and then reup later with a new team. It's more risk, but a young guy, if he develops, can bet on himself.
Melo and KP seem to get along very well from all I have seen.
If they are together two years, and melo's deal expires, why would KP leave a ton of money on the table when the very thing that you say bothers him "Melo", would be gone by then? cuz he mad?
Knicks don't have to play Melo. They can bench him. Melo can either sit, or score points somewhere else. If losing bothers him in a rebuild, he can leave. If Melo wants to be employed in NYC, he can practice hard and earn his paycheck on the bench. Its his choice.
Melo does not freeze kp out, he does it to all!!!
Triple, BTW, KP Hates "Zinger". That bothers him outwardly more than Melo.
