I say 100% yes. Fuck the triangle. Lonzo could even play SG.
Nah, I think we should draft Jordan Hill
Why on earth would Ball drop past 3, and there's no way if Ball does drop that we pass on him if we are at 4, or any team passes on him. He's a top 3 pick for certain. We would have to get lucky with the ping pongs to move up.
I suppose the logic is if teams start to pass on him, why?
Is it others have surpassed him? Some skinny tall euro comes out of know where and charms teams with freaky ability?
Don't take a player just cuz he drops, does he fit what we are trying to do, or take the best player available.
I would take him if he dropped, for sure. He's got the potential to be a franchise transforming player at his ceiling. Just have to find a way to keep his dad quiet.
Why would he drop?
We all love him this week, but if he drops, there is flaw?

Why are you dissing the Triangle in making your point. Lonzo is actually one of the most perfect Triangle Capable players in the draft. This makes me wonder if you know what makes a player good for the Triangle in the first place!
I doubt that Phil would pass on Ball if he fell to us. He makes all kinds of sense. Smart Pass First Guards with his size are pretty much dead on for what Phil tends to like.
lol... Lonzo Ball is the dream triangle PG. He's not a P&R player. Do a little reading.
He's still ranked #2 on draft express and draftnet. Others guys have changed places.

We can trade him for KP. Lonzo4Life?
No way he gets past the Lakers or 3 pick. Think he will go second, maybe first. He has the best court vision, I have seen in a young player, in quite some time. His Dad just has to stay the F out of his way.

He could make is way back up to number 1 with some improvement on his jumper in workouts. In terms of seeing the floor--certainly unchallenged--he makes players better.
I'd say probably. If he drops, it means evaluators have the same questions about foot speed, burst and overall athleticism. Fox, who we all know has above average speed by NBA standards, was able to do whatever he wanted against Ball. Plus his first step doesn't inspire me. I'll add that I had similar concerns about Kidd and Grant Hill. Those guys were hella good penetrators at the next level.I like Ball, but how much will his stock hold up after more scrutiny? Same with Fultz. His lack of team success hasn't hurt him like it Dennis Smith Jr. yet. But those questions will pop up once the lottery takes place.
Lakers aren't passing up Ball

I'm kinda rooting for the Lakers to drop out of the top three so they can lose their pick, regardless of where we land. Misery loves company.

Unless we are the reason one of the top 3 drop out of the top 3, we get pushed further back. So be careful what you wish for.

Or Antbony Randolph

I'd be happy with pick 4-7. Still want the Lakers to burn.
The last player entering the draft with a suspect parent was ledouche. Lonzo should be ok...I hope.

I would too, but then Philly gets the pick.........
Now a divisional rival gets better.
I take Ball anywhere we pick from 2 up. At the #1, I'd have to take Fulz.
Lonzo Ball has showed me he is the best overall freshman PG in the draft!
