Isaac but I think Smith will be a better player than Fox. I still hope the Knicks can get the 3rd pick and then trade back.

If we get the third pick, I would take Josh Jackson or Lonzo Ball without hesitation.
I do think there's a chance that Philly might take Malik Monk over De'Aaron Fox, since they plan to give Simmons the ball at PG and need shooters.
In that case, I would take Fox at 6 with zero hesitation.
If Fox is off the board, to me the big choice is between Monk / Frank / Dennis Smith
I think I might lean toward Frank in that case, but not sure.
Isaac is also intriguing.

I would take either Monk or Fox. I would definitely prefer Fox. Monk would work for me too. I wouldn't be pumped (NC State sucked donkey dong) but would be happy with Smith

I have some hesitation about Monk. I guess I'd like to get a guy who's a playmaker and I'm not sure he is one. His shooting would be great, of course.
Capspacious Starphuchitis!!
6-10 pg with 8 foot wingspan!
"Cappy" is from NY but moved to Cyprus when he was 10 and played soccer, he moved to Lithuania at 14 to play ball full time. He has been playing for obscure Russian team but will be available for tryouts and visits starting in May.
"Few people have heard of this guy but he is an excellent player at age 19!!"- Kevin Wilson
"He has the presence of PG and very wise beyond his years!!" Clarance "Little House" Gaines
"yeah, hug? What?" Phil Jacksond
He was recruited at age 11 to play for Kentucky but instead graduated from MIT so his eligibility is in question!
He averages 30ppg, 10 dimes, 10 assists! He has great vision and can see the spit on your tongue from 50 feet away!
it is rumored he was the love child of Arvitas Sabonis and Cindy Lauper.
I'm going Monk because he's got a cool name
Frank. Get me some good euros

in a vacuum, I'm probably not too interested in Monk. That said, he formed a really dynamic backcourt with another freshman. The biggest reason I'd be okay with Monk (and same with Fox) is that I think both players would look a lot better if they weren't sharing the backcourt with another stud prospect. I also think it was harder for Monk than Fox because of their respective skillsets
I think that after L.Ball, M.Fultz and J.Jackson that the rest are very close to what they could be as NBA players and the interview process and team workout will be where we come up with our answer because they're all so close. I want defense not only with this pick but with whatever additions we make this off season in free agency and with the draft. If you play hard defense and that's everyone on the team then you can win games without having a team full of star players. I'm not 100% sure on which ones are considered the best defensively but i know D.Fox, Frank.N, M.Monk and J.Issac play defense and don't think defense is what D.Smith Jr is known for but again i'm not sure which of these kids are considered good to great defenders if someone would like to say which do for me?? Also have heard that D.Smith has the t-rex arms??
DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE

That's fair... but I also feel like if we don't have a good PG here for Monk to work with... it could make things hard for him.
We're getting a top 5 pick. It's time for lady luck to give NYK a blowie.
From all these vids I'm seeing. Frank's handle needs a lot of work.
I don't want Dennis Smith. I'm hoping guys like Smith (Rose clone), Tatum (Melo clone), Lauri Markkanen (Porzingis clone) rise in the draft and are off the board before the Knicks pick.
Heck, i'd just be thrilled to get the #6 pick at this point. I think we'll wind up with the #8 or #9 pick most likely.

Markkanen excluded those other "clones" don't bother me because they'll never likely be asked to carry their team right away this giving them time to develop without the pressure. Also, I find it funny how people talk about Smith as a selfish player when he ranked 12th nationally in ast by avg 6.2 a game. On top of that the guy has range on his handle shot so if he is Rose he is a better shooting and passing version of Rose that could possibly be a top notch defender. That's an amazing player.
Ntilikina or Isaac.
Monk is fool's gold, IMO... a tweener who is not physical enough to play SG on D, not enough of a perimeter defender at PG, and not a good enough ball handler to run an offense.
The guy can f'n shoot, and get off a shot in tight spaces, but he was relatively invisible in the KU/NC game.
Can he do things we have not seen...similar to what KAT and Booker are now doing in the NBA, or is he a one-way player?
No opportunity costs when you sign an undrafted player like Baker and make him a PG project...not so easy to use your #6 pick to take a guy like Monk and make him a PG. Seem to recall that we wanted Shumpert to be a PG, too. ShumpMonk would be a monster player, but that is not what Monk is.
Ntilikina and Isaac are much more complete players than Monk...with a good chance to be successful two-way players in the NBA.
Have said this once before...Monk is more Dell Curry than Steph Curry... a nice fit on a good team, but now someone I want to build my team around.
Remember, anyone we get has to compliment KP and Willy...I don't think that Monk does this.
Maybe Monk works out well when we have him in-who knows ...Have to trust Horny, Phil, and Gaines on this pick.
M. Fultz is the only player I want the Knicks draft....if he is not available then the Knicks can trade the pick for all I care.
Although, I wouldn't be too upset if they end with Duke J.Tatum or UNC J.Jackson.
No brainer to me...You take Dennis Smith. He's the prototypical lead guard in today's NBA. You need a play making/scoring guard to compete in the current version of the NBA and to be honest, other than Lonzo Ball, one can argue that Smith is the best all around guard in the draft. He has a reliable jumper, can get the hole at will, is strong, has a mid range game, is an above the rim athlete and has above average court vision. He's also a very good PNR player...
Im going to go solely on who I think the Knicks will take. Ive watched Justin Jackson disrupt many players with his length on D in the tourney. If you go back in tape --pretty interestingly you can see Issac do the same thing to Jackson. The Knicks are either taking Ball#1 or Josh Jackson Jason Tatum or Jon Issac 2-3-6. I think they pass on any PG not named Ball. You can probably slot Issac into 3 and when you need him to slide him to 4 and he can defend 2-3-4 and maybe even 5-1. I just dont see the Knicks taking the risk on Frank N. There are some nice things about him but hes going to be a project the first two years and I dont think the Knicks can get away with that. Issac Tatum Jackson and Ball can be slotted in. I think the Knicks pas on Fultz Smith Fox unless players they might like better are gone.

Isaacs potential is very, very intriguing...
