Yeah I think KP was trying to send a PM to Melo but mistakenly sent it out live. Why would he send it out prematurely before any official team statement?
I wouldn't be surprise if phil traded him, hell, he's giving up one every one he drafted so far, and that skipping out on a exit meeting was a total FCK YOU message.

How the F do you know Phil hasn't reached out to KP? To be honest I don't think Phil needs to reach out to KP. KP is the one who did something wrong. Phil is KP's boss! Phil never did Shyte to KP personally for him to have an attitude from all we know.
I don't expect an offer good enough to come in that would make Phil trade KP. If there was such an offer he couldn't refuse then I'd expect Phil to take it.

That's what I would assume. I would be just about approaching okay if we traded KP for the no 1 pick and more, but if we traded KP to the Clips For Blake then it would be nervous breakdown time- it would be horrific!
I just hope if we are trading Melo tot he Clips, we are moving Redick to another team for a pick or something- at 33 he looks about ready to go on a steep decline
Just out of interest, when is the earliest we could move melo, and if it's before the draft, is it then using the 2016-17 salaries and contracts rather that the 2017-18 ones? basically if we did it around draft time, would we then have Redick's bird rights and immediately be able to move him to another team with interest in re-signing him?

He skipped the exit interview, but made sure everyone saw he was still in town, then visited the NBPA, now this.
He is the definition of the messing around type. We could spend pages debating on the motives for it, but it's clear he is seeking a reaction from the fans or the media. I would recommend we fans don't read to much into it. There is nothing we can do about it.
Hmm, can't find a specific piece, but I did read that while teams out of the playoffs can trade, they can't trade players who are about to become FAs, which would make the Redick thing a no go.

Lol. Think I can explain. I have a friend who's son is dating a gurl.who uncles dog was formerly owned by a guy who almost became a CSI detective. Here what happened:
After reading all the rumors on the internet, a close friend (Hot model) asked jokingly "So I heard your getting traded?"
KP sarcastically responded "Clippers" as that is where she rrsides.
He was out having dinner (been to Spain and people go out to dinner around 12), had a Couple of cocktails and mistakenly posted instead of sending response.
Just too easy.
Nothing to see here. He is not going anywhere unless we get a kings ransom. Clips have nothing close to that.
I don't think there is a single Clipper asset Phil would trade KP for.
DeAndre is good but not worth it.
If we dealt KP i think it's for what others have said, Bostons/Nets pick and another asset.
I think most of this is becuse of Phil saying KP is not untouchable and KP skipping the meeting.
But Phil believes in this stuff. Challenge a player put pressure on him to improve.
KP should be taking his touchable status on the team to heart. Work his tail off. Don't follow Melo,KP.
