This guy is heads and shoulders the best athlete. A 45 inch vertical with a 7 foot wingspan. Hes 18 years old--his physical potential is off the charts. I would seriously consider him at 7 and at a minimum we should bring him in for 24 hours against the Franks N's and Fox's--compare them together. I have a feeling Diallo might be a darn good player that some teams will cry that they passed. Hes got ball skills hes got the alpha gene good shooting form good defender. Somehow the F Miami Heat will get him--watch what happens.

With the Knicks luck he'll end up across the way in Brooklyn who have spoken with him. Just cause we haven't spoken with him yet doesn't mean we won't.

I understand that but what do you really think the Knicks would learn in some scrimmage with Diallo a SG and Fox n Frank who are PG's? If Diallo is worthy of the 7th Pick I'm sure Gaines will have investigated all about him by now. The scrimmage with Fox n Frank wouldn't be absolutely necessary to assess his value.

Diallo's problem is a lack of evidence of what he's actually able to do outside of being athletic. That alone isn't enough to warrant a top pick.

Hey he might be the next big thing I'm just saying that the Knicks better have a lot better info than having to rely on a scrimmage with a couple of PG's which tells you what exactly? He's not going to be tested on his ability to run a team like Fox or Frank!

I would guess the Knicks might bring Diallo in for an individual workout as they should.

Frank Ntilikina
Frank "Nitty" Ntilikina's stock seems to be on the rise again. The French prospect is still the starting point guard of his team, although he won't turn 19 until late in July, which says a lot about his talent and ability. He might not score a lot at this point, but he is not asked to do that. He is asked to play hard defense and make sure that all his teammates will be involved in offense and he is doing just that, with good results. What's impressive though is his assist/turnover ratio this past month (5 to 1). Ntilikina hasn't commited more than 1 turnover in almost two months (!) which is even more impresive if you take in consideration that he is playing in a League with great athletes and an uptempo game, similar to the NBA

The ability to control possessions at the PG spot is underrated. I'd like hear more about his ability to create for other off the drive, but I'm warming up to idea of Frank being our pick.

Nice in theory but any idea of which 2 or 3 year vet we'd trade for? I mean giving up a fresh 1st rd prospect who you don't know just how good he'll be seems very risky. The only real flaw Fox has is his jumper which is very fixable. Fox has Elite quickness and explosion. Fox demonstrated leadership and focus under fire.

Agree.. would be tough. Would be great to somehow get some team who favors taking a chance on a prospect for someone who they feel have a predictable ceiling. How about Jabari, Portis, Stanley Johnson? Zach Levine, if we can get him extended. Fox does seem to be fast as hell.
