No I thought about this myself--and it reiterated it himself. It is possible that Fox plays to fast for the triangle--I think that makes some sense. I would take Fox personally.

The one thing that Frank has over Fox (and its big) is a jumpshot. In the modern NBA you have to put high emphasis on the ability to shoot. Thats not saying Fox cant shoot--but I think Frank's form is better. After that I think Fox is just as good of a defender is 2-3X better in terms of speed ability to separate finishing at the rim and better ballhandler. I think Fox is more of the natural PG although neither are great passers and neither has anything close to what Ball has in court vision. I think of Fox comes in and shows improvement on his J--he will be the superior pick.

Anyone read the Post article today where Frascilla says he watched Frankie knock down 27 of 30 3's last year in a private workout at Terminal 23 gym in NY.

I love Fox and I'm not sure Frank is really a pure PG or if he will stay at the point as his body fills out. But It doesn't take long to see Frank is made for the triangle because he will move/cut, can pass, handle, shoot and is unselfish.

I think Frank may grow into a SG down the road --- reminds me a little with his pace, hesitations and change of directions into a jump shot of young Joe Johnson.

I think Phil/Gaines might actually take Frank but damn it will be hard if we pass on Fox.

Wait are you saying you think the Knicks were running Full Triangle to close the season? If so I'd love to see your breakdown of the offense in terms of the percentage of Side Triangle vs Early Offense and Spread PnR they ran.

Some of the worst shooters can hit 3 pointers when they're practicing and not in actual games so i wouldn't let that make you think he's a lock down 3 point shooter. He does have a nice shooting stroke though and has been a good shooter but that doesn't mean he will be in the NBA. I like the kid and think he does everything good just not sure what he'll do great in the NBA.

I'm like his defense more and more. The kid looks like he is going to make an impact. Practice is practice. Game time is always a bit different.

Frank gives you more options because he could end up at both guard positions, and down the road, you might even have him guarding certain 3s when needed.

The FF article about his shooting was revealing...remember, a few years ago that was said to be a concern about his game. His form looks very good, and he has clearly worked on that aspect of his game.

I'll say it again...Fox, Isaac, and Ntilikina...I'd be happy with ANY of these guys, and I expect at least one of them to be available at 7.

Nice in theory but any idea of which 2 or 3 year vet we'd trade for? I mean giving up a fresh 1st rd prospect who you don't know just how good he'll be seems very risky. The only real flaw Fox has is his jumper which is very fixable. Fox has Elite quickness and explosion. Fox demonstrated leadership and focus under fire.

The only 100% guarantees to be gone by #7 are Fultz, Ball and J.Jackson and then i'd put J.Tatum as a pretty much guarantee to be gone by #7 so as long as we stay at #7 we'll have some good choices in M.Monk, D.Fox, DSJ, F.Nitkilina and J.Issac. I'm no draft guru and even they don't know which of these kids will be great, good or bad but we sure will have a good group to choose from so hopefully we hit the lottery with whoever we draft. Shyt hopefully we hit the lottery with whoever we draft with all 3 of our picks.
