I think i may go for the hr with smith, then monk
I think Phil will go for Monk, the safe pick, maybe try to make him a pg in the triangle then Franky

Nitty has the Size, BBIQ, shooting touch, unselfish approach and most of all the elite length for Defense. He fits the Prototypical description of a Triangle guard.

More recent game video of Nitty.

They all look good. SMith and Ntilikina look like the better PG's and I think NY needs that first. A real good PG makes every position better. So that will mean that KP, Willy and CLee will get better shots.

I like the size of Ntilikina and he could develop into a smaller version of Scottie Pippen as a versatile defender.

looks very holiday-esque in frame and pace.

I think it comes down to Smith vs Ntilikina. I have to think that Monk will be gone before we pick, more because he fits a need for a team than that he is the BPA.

I figure that Phils goes Euro again. Frank has an interesting mix of skills, is a known team first guy, and has been playing against older players. He can probably play in a disciplined system, but also has the athletic and other ability to play different styles of ball.

Smith is interesting to me...wonder if Jackson will like him?

Sorry, but the Ntilikina highlights are not very impressive. The games look like they're against high schoolers in slow motion.

I posted some Pro footage above! The kid just won another award!

Smith's college coach compares him to Westbrook

"In fact, Gottfried said Smith should be in the same conversation as Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball, point guards expected to go first and second in the draft.

Gottfried, let go after going 4-14 in the ACC, is mystified as to why Smith is blamed for being on underachieving teams, but Fultz (who led Washington to a 9-22 season) and last June’s No. 1 pick Ben Simmons (who led LSU to a 19-14 mark) get a free pass."

Hard to pass on a player with Russell Westbrook ceiling

I dont believe Nit weighs 190. I think 170-173 tops. I think some tough physical guards like Wall Irving etc will simply go right through him for years.

I hope they select Smith out of the three choices here. Saw this on twitter and it makes me think it will be Frank.

You do realize that it's not odd for an 18 yr old to be kind of skinny? This isn't about what he weighs right now. It's gonna take time to develop any of these kids.

I'm all in on Diallo. The game seems to be moving in slow motion for him. The array of shots while contorted. His body control while in air is Kobe and Jordan like. This guy has the it factor.
Swishfm3 @ 5/18/2017 12:38 AM
Although I'm not sure that he is the type of player we need right now, Monk is the best player from these three and the one I would go.

It would be great if both Monk and Smith are still available at eight..really good players to choose from.

Staying away from Ntilinkina. Kid has bust written all over him

PhilinLA @ 5/18/2017 1:44 AM
Frank by miles. He's unselfish. We've been missing that since we won titles.
meloshouldgo @ 5/18/2017 7:02 AM
Zero interest in Smith. Weak tentative passer, no ability to create for teammates and in most cases doesn't even know where his teammates are. Doesn't defend "except when motivated" and too small to defend bigger guards. Another Derrick Rose with less skills. How people think this guy is a HR boggles my mind.

Monk is too small to be a SG and too little skills to be anything else.

I'll take Ntilikina over both these iso players.

EnySpree @ 5/18/2017 7:24 AM
After watching those videos.... I'm ready to trade down lol

You need to watch them play instead of watching "highlight" videos to understand why some people are high on these players.

I'm not a big fan of either of them (Monk or Smith) but when those two are "on", especially Smith Jr., you can see why fans would get excited but you in order to see that you have had to watch them play in a real game.

Anyone picking Ntilikina, especially after all these horrid highlight videos, loses all credibility.
