Yeah. This is the only credible scenario in which Redick is associated to the Knicks - as filler in a Melo deal.
reasonable for who, redick is not a 20 point scorer, which is what phil wants in return, you need a go to scorer in the triangle, see kobe, see melo, see jordan

Yup...me to.
Then I thought about the possibility that we were looking to trade up in the draft for Josh Jackson...
...or pick up another #1 to draft Justin Jackson.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So you want the Kobe, Jordan type players from the Clippers - those guys as "fillers" Highly reasonable.

I wouldn't even give JJ Courtney Lee $$, he's only good on a balance roster, because he can't do anything else other than shoot, and he can't do that all that well come playoffs..
he would be making 4 mill less than melo

JJ's a decent player. He's probably going to be badly overpaid soon and he's too old for our team even if he isn't overpaid.
Lets see. The Knicks have a SG who is a better defender but probably not considered the scorer that Redick is and will make roughly $12M, $12M, $13M over the next 3 years and is 1 year younger.
Knicks have needs at PG position.
Redick may be looking for $15M+.
Knicks have about $18M in cap space after draft pick.
And we are to believe that the Knicks are "very interest" or even "interested" in Redick?
This is laughable, right?
