Winslow was the guy that many were saying the Knicks should've taken instead of KP! Thank goodness Phil listens to Gaines.

Phil deserves credit.
I mean so does Isaiah, it's not who you draft, its what you do once you draft the kid, which no GM/pres for the knicks have been good at in the last 20 yrs..
last i checked KP and Willy have been successful picks and big part of our future
In my book .. KP n Willy are still questionable, although i like Willy's hustle for playing-time minute more

I still like Winslow as our Big-Guard/SF .. a future 2-way player
Winslow was and is a very good player. I don't get this automatic status afforded to 20pt scorers as franchise players etc. I wanted Winslow too. I have no issues with us having picked KP, but I don't think that's a reason to make Winslow sound like a bad choice.

I don't think he is questionable at all. I'm not saying he is gonna be a superstar but he has already shown to be a good pick. I mean other than Towns he is probably the best out of that draft class.

Winslow is a nice project, but he would've been a bad pick at #4 overall. He is still young, but he's hard to keep on the court because of a lack of on an outside shot. He doesn't need to be a 20 point scorer, but he can't be a liability on offense. He's relegated to seventh of eighth on most depth charts until he can at least become a decent shooter.
