Knicks · Rose as an asset, keep or walk? (page 2)

Unless he takes the vet minimum then just let him walk. He cant shoot ,pass,or defend

8 million or less than keep him(which he won't accept). Otherwise he's a net negative. Quits on the team, poor passer, madator defense and guaranteed to spend time injured.

Doesn't this feel like when we signed Amar'e for five years? He'll have a good year, then he'll be hurt. He'll make a comeback, and then get hurt again. Finally, he'll breakdown in that third or forth year, and everyone will be wondering who signed him in the first place. Also, he's like poison to Porzingus, who is still waiting for a pass from the PG. Let him go.

time to go for D Ro

Walk. He's one of the worst defensive players in the league.

He can't shoot, defend or pass and is always injured. His plus minus puts him near the bottom at his position.

There shouldn't even be a thought of bringing him back. He was detrimental to be he offense and development of our young players.

PASS

He already cost us an asset in Lopez and the package deal of Noah crushed the franchise for years to come.

Sinix @ 6/16/2017 8:09 PM
Would rather keep Rose and trade Melo.

Rose is the kind of guy that will shut down at the end of the season when we tell him to.

If we can get him on a cost effective deal for 2-3 years its not bad. And if he outperforms his contract he becomes trade bait. Without Melo around he can get to 20ppg. Just gotta cross your fingers on health.

ass set... or not ass set?
This is a question...

You kinda of missed the 2016-17 season, huh?

1. If KP has a beef about it, then no.
2. If he wants an early sign, then no.
3. If melo traded, then maybe.
4. I assume his health is good.
5 I'd rather have the Brothers Holiday
6. Depends on who we draft.
7. Money matters, at what price?
8. WTF was up with the Awol?

Nalod got questions.

Welpee @ 6/17/2017 5:19 PM
The only reason he wants to stay in NY is because nobody else will take him other than a bad team at a bargain basement price (which actually sounds like us lol). We gave it a try, it didn't work out, back to the drawing board.
