Knicks · Question -- will we get a 12-15 or 20 pick (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 6/18/2017 4:48 PM
Any answers?
BigDaddyG @ 6/18/2017 4:50 PM
We probably won't hear anything until draft day.
StarksEwing1 @ 6/18/2017 4:53 PM
I doubt we get 12 especially since talent is rising and some might fall a bit. I do think its very possible we get one of portlands picks. However im scared to take a bad contract for it since we still have noahs and melos contracts

Do we have to wait though? Like the Celtics /Philly thing kind of open the gates for predraft trades

Briggs its a good question and my take is this... it depends on who we draft and if the other team jumps on it. Doesnt really make sense to pull the trigger now. Knicks know what players they want and how they value them. Now its just seeing where it all shakes out.

This is a super deep talented draft. i think we should do anything possible to acquire as many 1st rnd draft picks as possible. This could be a franchise changing draft if we hit on these picks.

I'm \hoping we will get a couple for taking back shitty contracts... it's not like anyone has much of a shot to win as long as the Warriors are as loaded as they are
Paris907 @ 6/19/2017 10:23 AM
15. Portland has their own $$$ issues

I'm not in favor of taking bad contracts unless it produce a draft pick so we can draft Issac. Don't forget if the New Orleans experiment doesn't work we need to be in position to go after Cousin!!!

Nobody has the answer to that. I think it's gonna be harder then people think to get another 1st round pick without getting fleeced in a deal to get one. Supposedly the Lakers are now wanting to trade for another 1st round pick and i'm sure they won't be the only team looking to trade for one. The Lakers have us beat badly in assets to trade for a pick to cause they have J.Randle, D.Russell, J.Clarkson and others that will probably look like more intriguing players to other teams then KOQ, C.Lee or L.Thomas do. I really hope we can get one though and do think C.Lee and maybe KOQ should get a pick in the mid to late part of the 1st round but it won't be easy especially with this draft being so strong and teams seeing they can get a really good young player anywhere in the 1st round and even in the 2nd round.

Cousins?? Hellz no. That guy puts up stats but isn't a team player which means you won't win much with him. No thank you on Cousins.

Hey Newyorker4ever,
do you know what win real champions?? Why isn't he a team player?? Cousin is the best at his position, IMO. He is a corner stone player.
