This got me thinking. Magic Johnson loves Melo . Why not trade Melo and our #8 to the Lakers for their #2 and their #27? They might have to include Clarkson or Deng to make it work. Then we draft Lonzo Ball who may be the only player in this entire draft that I think has HOF potential. We can then grab Swanigan, Jordan Bell, or Jonah Bolden to replace Melo with that #27 pick.
That is an interesting rumor. I think the Knicks would have to trade KP or next years pick. I think Melo's contract makes a move like that not possible.

You may be correct but Deng's contract is huuuge.

Yes, i'm sure there's lots of #27 picks who come into the league and average 20 & 7 in their rookie year...

Although if Deng's contract is huge, that would wash Melo's and possibly his trade kicker as well...
Would much rather have Deng than Clarkson...

is that getting 20/7 or giving it up? With Melo its not always clear.

BTW, do you remember another player people used to brag about having 20 and 8?! He was just like Oscar Robertson!
My word, tkf and dk7th live!
Yes, I'm sure anyone we take with the 27th pick will also be the new Scottie Pippen of the Knicks!

You love for Melo is about 17x more silly than the hate those guys brought. You have stopped saying anything and just repeat the same silly statements over and over. You cant possible address anything actually does on the court otherwise you would realize he's not 1/25th the player you pretend he is... but dude... that 54 win season was amazing. #neverforget

BTW, do you recall if we won a division or got to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in over a decade with that guy who was like Oscar Robertson?

No, it wasn't until we got Jason Kidd and Tyson Chandler that we did!

I don't address what, something like the fact anything anyone else on the team does on the court without the DOUCHE on the floor netted us 2 whole wins?
Yeah dude, and you still manage not to respond to what I actually post, but just spew the same sorry baseless hate they did. Good job. #couldntbeatemsoIjoinedem
Oh, and so sorry about all that winning back then, I know it must have really pissed you off inside.

you said something? When? I would be happy to chat hoops with you.
Anyone: Melo's production continues to drop
JRod: He's had the worst teammates ever!
Anyone: Melo is ranked the #425 best defender in the league
Jrod: You just miss Jeremy Lin!
Anyone: Maybe Melo isnt the best fit for a young team
JRod: More hate... lets run this DOUCHE out of town? Thats all you guys say!
I can pretty much use one of those 3 statements and use them as your retort to anything that doesnt shine your golden Melo mooby
zzZZZzzz
Its just not that interesting but as you mention TFK and DK if your goal was to eclipse their single minded train of thought all I have to say is good job

Anyone: 27th pick can replace Melo!
JROD: really?
Anyone: But the DOUCHE doesn't play D!
JROD: and the 27th pick will?
Anyone: You're just a melo loving troll! What good is Melo? He suhhhucks!
JROD: So someone recently on the team, actually playing on the court without Melo, won more than 2 games for us?
Anyone: You make me miss tkf and dk7th
Please fish, spare yourself the agony and just go back to ignoring me. Come to think of it, that's what tkf and dk7th did!
Meanwhile, I will hope and pray to my Sprewell bobblehead that the next HOF player we manage to get in here is a bit less polarizing than Melo.
Windhorst on Lowe's podcast said he has heard Melo wants to stay close to NY for family reasons if he leaves the Knicks. He said he doesn't want to go to a western conference team.
