yeah, the over saturation of tweets and instagram and Woj reporting literally ZERO today just shows us how overblown the NY media is.
It's pathetic

The deal the Suns turned down for KP was reported by a credible source, and it wasn't Woj.

No pushback about KP trade talks from the Knicks....yet.

The onslaught today was brought about because of WOJ tweet stating something that was directly stated from Phil over a month ago when the season ended. Reporter asked if anyone on Knicks team was untouchable and Phil answered directly "No."
What's new?
And why does there need to be pushback?
Did PHO deny Booker was untradeable? Paul George? Butler?
Last 2 are actual all stars.
Boston just traded the #1 pick in the draft. Fultz's feeling hurt by Boston?
Where does it end?
Does Phil need to go down the roster and let us know who is tradeable and who is not?
And how often do the Knicks need to revise this list? Every month? Every time the media asks?

What deal?
Booker and #4 for KP.
The Suns are dumb if they turned that down. Booker has been a terible player so far. Wiggins and Booker are probably the two most overrated young players in the league.

Suns leaking that was smart though. Made Booker look more valuable then he is. Plus who is to say that they didn't offer that get turned down then leak it as if they are the ones who turned it down. Or that Knicks wanted Booker, #4, and another draft pick but only reported Booker and #4 to bring KPs value down.

This would have been a good time with KP and the Knicks not talking, not sending coaches to work with him, to state that KP was part of the team's future. Might have helped bring the sides closer together.

How often do they need to do this? After every tweet? After every article? For each one?
What's the proper policy? WOJ Tweet is a yes but Isola is a no? Who makes the article cut? Which media outlets?

One tweet with some words about KP being part of the team's future would be enough. Until they talk again, the Knicks should be removing any obstacle to a resolution that's good for both sides. Letting this story hang out there like that doesn't do the Knicks image any good with potential free agents. Not a good look for the Knicks.

Stop buying into the Media Trash! Phil's JOB is to field offers and try to improve the team. This is literally what happens every year at this time. But the Media knows Knicks Fans will overreact and that leads to more clicks and viewers tuning into SAS ranting. SMDH!

so mostly after Phil has already stated something, if WOJ tweets something pathetic, you want the Knicks/Phil to tweet something in response. Every time? Every player?
Again, if WOJ tweets something Knicks need to respond. Isola? TommyD? Newsday dude? Alan Hahn?
Who's on the list and who is not?
Knicks already said no one was untradeable. How many more times to they need to say it for you to feel OK about it?

As 1248 pointed out, this has grown beyond a Woj story, other outlets are doing their own reporting. Saying anyone is tradeable doesn't mean you start entering negotiations to possibly trading your best pick in 30 years over a skipped meeting. Thats what thin skinned execs do.

Lol I highly doubt there was an "offer." Please don't buy this stuff.
