Don't talk to me about Noah's contract because what else are we going to use capspace for anyway during a rebuild. And name me one GM that's been going for 3 years that has given out only cost effective contracts.
GTHOH! Do you even listen to yourself think? If this guy trades KP and waives Melo he has NOTHING!!! Nothing built in 3 years! And don't give me this bullshit that we will have a better future. What is that exactly? The probability that he won't like the next draft pick in a couple of years and reset right before he leaves Knicks in ruins. Funny, "don't talk to you about Noah"? So dont mwntuon giving up on draft picks, making the Knicks more of a joke, building no consistency, creating the biggest losing culture to date, trashing his players value, being a part time executive. Lmao
Time to fire that old fool.
Are you assuming Phil would trade KP and not get equal value in return? That would be a pretty nonsensical position to take.
We had a #4 draft pick 2 years ago and grew that asset by drafting well with KP. That value isn't inherently lost when traded.
And waiving Melo hasn't happened yet. We may trade him, we may waive him.
He drafted WHG. Dude is a stud and take a look at his contract. Freakin awesome deal we got WHG for. He could be trade bait for a top 10 pick soon.
Knicks have young talent and draft picks. Take a deep breath. For any bad contracts they've given out, they aren't really worse for it.

SIGH! You forget that the Draft is tonight and that any TRADES would bring back talent. So it's not true Phil would have NOTHING.

Again, are you listening? So we had a number 4 draft pick who turned out to be a franchise type player, from the draft (really hard to do) and now we are looking to trade him for another unproven #3 or 4? Is that how you build a team. Get lucky in the lotto draft and then trade hum for another chance at getting screwed with a miss? So the way to build a team is to reset every year, show players you will trash and trade, and devalue your current stars to waiving type status? Come on man.
Yes, it has not happened, as I said. So If it doesn't happen, has he done any harm? Im sure KP can't wait to come back. And im sure people will come up with another excuse to give his senility a pass. Like the one you already stated about getting assets back? Yey missing the point that he will giving up on our young franchise player in just 2 years. Why, because he missed his exit meeting with the great God of basketball. This from a guy that misses many mandatory exec responsibilities. Ie. Draft combines, due diligence with ALL coaching candidates. Nah, anyone missing all this fools missteps is just lost and not pay g attention. Sorry

Lol. Yep. Think he was talking about Noah, as he is half his age.
Now all the mindless are quickly sidestepping from "At least we have KP" to "At least we have Willy". Smh

you know what else he said that was so telling and hilarious.." He never had a player skip out on a exit meeting in his 25+ yrs coaching"
1)Your not the damn coach
2)In the same breath this guy gave ROSE (almost a round of applause for saying he was sorry) for a no show, no call on game day. NOT only did he start him the very next game, he wants to resign him..GTFOH..have you ever seen that in your 25+ yrs of coaching, what a fckng joke
3)"I think we know what were doing" that took the cake...60+ players traded, waived, not re signed, injured, resisting, chastise publicly, players drafted and traded after a yr or 2
4)It's not just melo you treat like trash,(that has players all over the league questioning, not just kp) it's every and anyone who dears go against the precious system.
Pure comedy central..
Oh yeah, he signed Odom, who didn't even show for his first training session

You're complaining about a bad trade that hasn't happened and most likely won't.
Take a deep breath. The Knicks aren't trading KP just for #3 or #4. In a situation like that, the Knicks are also getting back another pick or Jaylen Brown who was a #3 pick or w/e last season.
You don't just build with a young talented player just because he's young and has potential. There's more variables at play you are not seeing as a fan that the front office deals with in terms of personalities. They don't believe KP has the make up to be the franchise corner stone of the Knicks. I tend to agree with them based on his actions. If the FO believes this, trading and resetting is the right move.
Lets say we trade KP for even just #3 and Jaylen Brown. Then lose Melo for what ever. We get to build with-
PG-??
SG- Josh Jackson
SF- Jaylen Brown
PF- ??
C- Willy Hernangomez
And we can tank for next years #1 pick and do this rebuild right.
Sign me up. Oh lord I would love that so much more than an ugly year of KP/Melo duo again.

Why don't you just sign up on UltimateSixers.com and be happy? We managed the worst effing record in the history of the franchise under Phil's watch and you need to have someone explain to you how things are worse since he got here? Unreal.
What team are you following? Some Hinkie-driven fantasy league?
Say it to yourself slowly. "Win by losing... win by losing... win by losing"
Meanwhile, the rest of the league is not tanking to win the lottery every year, they're signing good FA's, and they're not spending 5 years sucking scum in the toilet under the basement floor... yes, and they manage to hopefully draft a decent player or two as well.

Why do i want this? Because fans and people that don't even follow the nba have huge opinions on the Knicks and how stupid they are. They need to see Melo given away... they need to see the unicorn go to another team. They need to get all the hate out of their systems. Flame out on the Knicks... then look on as the Pheonix rises from the ashes and nobody can say thet were down with the knicks through all of this. I feel like this needs to happen
Can't say I can even follow this...
If all of this happens, Knicks fans will get the hate out of their systems and become more rationale beings!
Inconceivable
