Not quite. he's saying he wants to win, wants to be a Knick - but is tired of garbage.
This isn't about winning and losing this about building relationships and communication.

He wants to be a knick yet doesn't want to be a soldier for the knicks front office.
So basically he's useless to us. Gtfo KP.
Phil has history on his side.....And Melo has Kobe in his left ear. Hopefully this master plan is working. I'm not seeing it.....But who am I, I have zero rings to Phil's 11 rings.

Part of it is also building a steady foundations where leaders are respected as leaders and you don't have Melos or KPs going over the front offices head when it comes to creating drama or not following the game plan.
By far the biggest issue the knicks face is the poison in the locker room starting with Melo.
Right now Phil needs to be the unquestioned leader to the players. Otherwise I can see a new spineless gm coming in and trading away draft picks to keep these malignant losers happy.

I agree with you. That is why I am for Phil. This is the first time a GM/ President has come out and pointed a direction for the franchise. No quick fixes which in all honesty he did to build around Melo but that road is very hard as you can't build around a player that isn't a leader. As much as I like KP I can't in all honesty defend his actions.
The only thing Phil won was a $60 mil lottery

Still not even half of Melo's lottery ticket! Sorry, I can't let you stay on my side for too long!

Right. There is no quick fix for the Knicks. We had to wait years to get in this position where we actually have assets worth a damn and Knicks fans are irrationally pissed at Phil who put us in the best positions asset wise we've been in, in about 30 years.
