Knicks · If a KP trade happens - what will everyone's consensus about KP be? (page 1)

Regardless of who's side your on - why doesn't KP or his brother reach out to Phil now? KP was wrong to skip the meeting, but is 21 and was possibly trying to make a point about our franchise and it's dysfunctional ways (which is true/valid). KP reaching out and saying, "don't trade me - we can talk" would likely end this potentially huge change. We also may not know other things going on with KP or his brother. I really don't want him to go, but would place most of the blame on KP if he ends up traded. Not for skipping the meeting, but for not returning calls (or refuting Phil's reports he did reach out). If he doesn't reach out and is traded - it does suggest that there are bigger issues at play involving KP. Phil maybe could have gone a different way with this - I guess we'll find out more this Sunday or at a post-trade interview... Sure hope it's not one involving Bledsoe though... too many injuries and don't think he's a triangle type of pg. Chriss and #4 would be minimum if we have to do it...

I don't think KP will be traded but if he is than for his sake he shouldn't let his brother have so muh power over his career IMO. Ithas already cause him to act immaturely and it might be worse in the future. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road and KP is here next season with a better outlook and without his brother

I would be so disappointed.... but I'm a Knicks fan. I wouldn't care what he did after he leaves.

Look, Phil has been an a-hole and he did great Melo wrong, but KP, you are a second year player. You have not earned the right to be skipping exit meetings. So as long as the Knicks get a GREAT haul, I am okay with trading KP.

I don't think this is about an exit meeting. If KP is drafted, it will be because the return made it good for the team.

ONCE A KNICK....ALWAYS A KNICK

I believe that we would have seen an immature 21 year old done in by an immature 71 year old.

I'm done as a Knicks fan if they trade KP. And at least I'll have seen the only two championships they'll ever win.

A bunch of Phil haters will be frothing with rage, what else is new? Depending on what picks we get it may be a good trade or a bad trade. If we get the third pock, Nets 2018 and Brown , I think that's pretty good.

I think it would be a missed opportunity, because it seemed before all this exit meeting crap occurred, that KP could handle NY and liked being a Knick.

Oh well, we'll always have
