Me too but this year has a deep draft class. Lets face it getting 2 top 7 picks plus maybe crowder or Brown is a bigtime haul for a 2 year player. Hell it would be a big haul for Town who so far has been the better player

I like Crowder but he is going to need to get paid soon. Either trade him for another 1st rnder or get Brown

I think thats what they may do. As much as I like Crowder he may be used in another deal. Brown is a young talent to maybe build with the others.

KP gone tonight. We hardly knew ya! Bummer

Obviously, the trade would be contingent on Boston acquiring that pick, which would likely be ahead of the Knicks' No. 8 pick. It is unclear at this point if the Knicks have interest in the trade. Phil Jackson said the club is taking calls on trades for Porzingis.

Things are starting to get interesting. Say we draft Fox at #3 (our franchise point guard of the future), pick up Jaylen Brown as the additional player (budding prospect who played well in the clutch during the playoffs last year), and an additional 1st rounder this year ahead of us...do you consider it? And then say we draft Lauri at 8 to replace KP.

Guess what, in this scenario, we just netted 4 potential starters in one draft. Fox has the potential to be a franchise changing talent, Lauri has immense talent will be at least a starter in this league for a long time, Brown is likely a Melo replacement with prototypical small forward skills and say the additional pick nets us Monk. 4 for 1 is how I see it as far as rebuild.

Check this potential scenario from this trade: Fox, Monk, Jaylen Brown and Lauri for KP. Hello? We automatically become one of the most young, exciting teams in the lead rebuilding.

Unless you think KP is going to be a perennial all star and hall of famer in his career, this is a move you def consider for a team lacking so much talent.

If the Knicks have three picks in this draft I think they take Jackson, Laurie and Frank.

Those are some sad picks.

A smart team would go Isaac, DSJR, and Collins.

I just keep hearing they like Laurie and Frank. Jackson seems to be the big target from what is being reported.

Oh, I have an idea what the Knicks will do but I was talking about what a smart team would do. The knicks probably go the route you mentioned with a possibility of Monk and Mitchell being substituted for on of the players you mentioned.

Way too much negativity man. Phil has made plenty of errors but drafting has actually been a strong point

Would it matter if he can't keep the assets he collects? Also, how does this affect Willy when KP and WIlly's families are so close?

This isnt little league you cant worry about how players are gonna react to rumors/trades or hurting their feelings. This is professional bball this stuff happens

Draft Jackson Tatum or Fox with the 3rd. Draft Isaac with the 7 and draft Monk with the 8th.....Get Crowder and smart with the deal

'This stuff' only happens in NY with the Knicks.

I'd go with Tatum at 3, Frank with 7 and Collins with 8. I'd try to get Smart as the player - salaries match.

Nice!!!

Ira @ 6/22/2017 5:37 PM
Another thought would be to offer 3 and 7 to the Lakers for Ball and take Collins at 8.

yes....I like that plan. I think at least one of those 3 picks will reach KP's level. I think Isaac might be the best player to come out of this draft.

GustavBahler @ 6/22/2017 6:00 PM
If they trade for a pick, and there is no turning back, Phil better get a quality PG like Fox, not fing Frank N.
reub @ 6/22/2017 6:02 PM
I'd take Jackson or Isaac at 3 and either Monk, DSJ or Frank at 8. If we got pick #7 instead of next year's Nets pick I might take Collins with one of the picks to replace KP.
meloshouldgo @ 6/22/2017 6:08 PM
We need to get Issac and Fox, some way out of this. Then if we have another pick take Frank
wargames @ 6/22/2017 6:08 PM
I think you see if Boston blinks on 2018 Nyets pick. That is the type of package you can argue KP is worth. KP goes to Boston they have a major piece to build around for years.

Knicks give up KP but they get a young squad that hopefully can hold its own against the 76ers when it reaches its prime.

Collins one of my dark horses. Think he would do Jackson, Dennis Smith, and Lauri. Hope no Fox or Frank. Don't Think he likes JR 2.0 (Monk). Dennis Smith is gone if they get the Minny pick. Orlando and Suns high on them.

If trade is those 3 and Brown then it's a tough decision.

Cant believe we are seriously considering trading KP..but, i will play along...if we secure 3, 7 and 8 im taking Fox, Isaac and Markanen(sp)...Fox is the real deal...

I know..just included 8 to lump all picks together...

Jackson, Monk and Frank N plus crowder
I like the idea of a complimentary backcourt and taking scoring pressure of JJ as he develops

If the Knicks get 3 and 8, we gotta look at what the teams in between are taking.

I think you take JJ at 3 and see who the BPA is that falls to 8 as long as its not a center.

One thing about KP is he's still on his rookie contract and is pretty much a guaranteed stud. Even someone like AD is going to clog up the books. KP gives you the option to still use cap on another star piece. KP is a perfect fit in like every way for Boston right now. They better get this done for their own good. Freakin KP is going to be hitting his prime as Lebron slows down at 34-35.
