Knicks give up KP but they get a young squad that hopefully can hold its own against the 76ers when it reaches its prime.

One thing about KP is he's still on his rookie contract and is pretty much a guaranteed stud. Even someone like AD is going to clog up the books. KP gives you the option to still use cap on another star piece. KP is a perfect fit in like every way for Boston right now. They better get this done for their own good. Freakin KP is going to be hitting his prime as Lebron slows down at 34-35.

So you want to trade a guaranteed stud for a non-guaranteed stud.

I try to go Jackson, Fox, Isaac. Pair than up with Willy Hernangomez and holy jesus that is one hell of a rebuild. We'll be bad next year as this team matures so we can secure another top 5 pick and by then if all goes to plan, we enter the promised land again.

I'd be so down with this.

What are you referencing? Trading KP for draft picks? KP isn't the right fit for NY and if we can get multiple talented pieces back, that's a good thing. One isn't enough. Neither is two.

Thats what draft picks are, nothing is guaranteed. Unlike these draft picks, KP has shown what he can do in the pros, and he is only 21. KP not fitting here is your opinion, and maybe Phil's, but not mine.

People can chill..trade talks seem dead. Ainge wouldnt cave into the asking price. Kudos for phil for for demanding a kings ransom or nothing. I dont think phil really was trying to trade KP unless he got the top 3 pick, nets pick, and crowder/brown
blkexec @ 6/22/2017 7:27 PM
yep....but he just damaged his relationship with KP. hopefully that doesn't impact his relationship with NY fans.

KP needs to grow up this is pro ball and phil did nothing wrong. He listened to offers thats all. KP kinda started this by acting like a baby. Even melo met with phil at the end of the season
