Knicks · Ntilikina, Dotson, Jaramaz, Hayes, Kornet (page 1)

After all the noise, Phil kept it simple and grabbed some good talent that was available.

Nigel Hayes signed a training camp deal with a partial guarantee. He's a good player who has a real chance to make the team.

Luke Kornet is a stretch-big who signed one of those new two-way contracts, so my assumption is he will make the team as the 16th/17th man, which are the additional roster spots available for these players.

Dotson should make the team as a potential 3-and-D wing.

Jaramaz can show us a little in summer league then develop overseas for awhile.

Overall, i would have loved to see Phil grabbed an extra first round pick since he made it clear this is a true rebuild, but i don't think anyone can argue what he did. He deserves a B+ for this draft.

Now it's all about mending his relationship with Porzingis, which he has all summer to do. Hopefully things quiet down for a little bit and the focus can be improving this roster for next season.

We have a real core to build around with KP, Hernangomez, and Ntilikina, and we need to grow from there.

Yeah it's a very nice pickup. I expect him to make the roster. He's probably better than Ndour.

Been asking for him for a while, this makes me happy.

Jaramaz is probably more ready that Ntilikina to run a team. He is 22 and been a pro for longer.

NY made some good picks. The SG looks good for what they will be doing....could play the Kerr/Paxson role.

Yeah the ONE really consistent aspect of the team and it's coming into prominence as we focus on building with young drafted players and UDFA's. It's not as sexy as Philly but what's MOST important is how all the parts fit together and function as a team.

I dont expect much from Hayes. He really regressed since Freshman year, but he's worth a look in D-league. We've stocpiled alot of guards and centers, but we need some wings. Holiday's departure will hurt even more.

No we can't expect much from Hayes. He's an undrafted FA, so we need to keep that in mind. But i see a Baker type in the sense where i think he will earn a roster spot and might have end of rotation upside down the road.

I actually like Canyon. Heck I think he'd be more useful than Sasha at this point. We'll see if he can make an impression and stay with the team in some way.
