It's a fact that our nba players spend alot of time overseas teaching fundamental basketball.... while here in the states we're teaching the AAU concept of one on 5 basketball.
Phil wants team ball. These Euro guys have no problem with system ball. They don't play rookies and young players in Europe no matter how good they are. They are really playing more traditional ball. The ball our parents grew up on.
Is it out dated? If you have good talent out doesn't matter. Teams shoot the 3 more across the board in the NBA now.
Since we are picking up so many young Euros.... maybe we need to stalk some of their veteran stars too. Offer guys nba contracts. Let's be the first team to win a championship with the most European players on the roster. Fuck it. We tried everything else the last 15 years.
