Watched the full game...as well as a full game someone else posted.
Said this a couple of times before...they play with NBA physicality in that league, and the refs let them get away with a lot of stuff. They also have a degree of athleticism that surprised me.
Frank has been playing against better competition than he would have played against if he had been a college player in the U.S. A lot of quickness and adult-level strength and a pretty high BB skill level.
Disciplined offensive schemes which we would all recognize, NBA quality picks, and a lot of defensive pride visible.
The "seasoning" he got in this league was undoubtedly better than anything he could have gotten in the states.

They had a game thread up for the game on the other site. Fans were complaining that Frank hit 3 3s that were counted as 2s.

I believe it no doubt.... I just don't see his game as being all that.

I think ESPN overstated the bust risk for him. I don't know if he'll be a star in the NBA, but I think he has a relatively high floor. You can easily see him being a bench rotation player. :)
I don't think he looks super explosive on offense - might have trouble turning the corner. At the same time he has long arms and legs and covers a lot of ground with his strides so he might be deceptively quick - similar to big brother Antetokounpo. If he's 6'5"/170lbs, he's got a lot of room to gain some mass.
One thing to note is that at least he was playing a solid role for a championship contender.
KP and Hernangomez were on losing squads...
On another note, given his measurements, how does he compare to the great Kerry Kittles?

Absurdly long arms. A saving grace for Frank is if he can't cut it as a PG he still has solid size/length as a wing.

That's always been the question. What level of comp is higher. I think before we got access to the information we do today. Teams got away with sending over prospects that were talented but didn't play the highest level overseas. They just were more talented then their piers. But that is the separation since the comp at that level vs their piers may not be at the same level of American ball. But an 18 yr old playing in pro ball is a higher level then vs high school & college ball.
With the information we have today that is how we can distinguish. With that said Freak never played the highest level of Euro ball but he was just a freak. So it also comes down to quality scouting. Level of comp played, skill sets and athletics that will be able to translate.

With Nitty it's clear he has talent but I never saw the type of game that a Fultz or Dennis Smith Jr. type has. Still that's not why Phil drafted him. Phil wanted a great On Ball defender as he stated he was going to be looking for. He also wanted a great fit for how the Knicks play and Phil loves tall PG's that aren't Ball Dominant. That's been his MO since Ron Harper ran Point for him. Phil would rather have a great defender with limited offense as long as they can run the offense and hit the open shot. You have to take into account that. That he was 17-18 years old trying to learn how to play in a pro league with grown as men. Brogdon is 23-24 with 4 years of college under his belt and was drafted by team loaded with talent and only needed to play a role. By the time Frank is 23-24 he would be 5-6 yrs in. Who knows what he will bring to the table. One thing is for sure ball is life for him.
The kid worked out in a gym the day of the draft after flying from France and having his championship game the next day.
I think you are wrong about his competitiveness.

Frank, while a pro now a few years would still have only been a high school senior this past year instead played with men in a league that even the best college team could not compete in. We see euro's as soft if they don't show the confidence of an AAU diva? and most of us, having only seen a few video clips of him are projecting his career?
Unless he is a "teen sensation" out of the gate, Phil will get blasted by his haters. The same would have happend with Steph Curry and his injuries the first few years.

I was concerned about Nitty's lack of IT factor but at the same time we are looking a young kid who is IMO very similar to how Kawhi looked. The way Kawhi is playing now is not how he looked at the start. Nitty has the talent and needs to develop more confidence in what he can do. I don't think he's ever going to be an ultra aggressive offensive player but I do expect he'll gain more aggression as he gains confidence. One way to know this is how he played against kids his own age!!!
