We know Dolan is still buddies with him and if he were able to do so without getting pitchforks coming for him, he would instill Isiah Thomas as GM again.
IMO Isiah is still in Dolan's ear and good chance he is effectively Dolan's current consigliere who he gets final advice from on all moves.
