I thought we fired Phil for you!! Melo!! we fired Phil for you and you go away??? Then why did we fire him now? Think for KP!! You told him what to do and go rebel but you go to find a better team? I mean, we won this battle for him As fans we won it, right? but the winner is gone now, then what do we win now?
I really want to be neutral, I really do. I just want to find an angle that firing Phil is actually a good thing. Isiah "Dark Horse" Thomas is not a good thing. Yeah, the new sounds crazy until we realize the owner is Dolan.

“It has nothing to do with how he’s playing,” he said. “It has nothing to do with basketball. He’s just got to grow up a little and understand it’s a team and he’s got to act like a good teammate.
“Sometimes when they hear it from me, that’s just coach,” Brown said. “We got five other [coaches] that have visited with him privately. And he heard something pretty specific from me before the game. If he doesn’t know, it’s because UCLA wasn’t a good academic institution.”
Brown coached the Bruins from 1979-1981.
Ariza, last season’s golden-boy rookie, said, “He just wanted the most out of me. He didn’t feel I was giving him everything I had. Everyone has their own opinion.”
The latest feuds involving Brown, Ariza and James underscore a deeper issue of whether Brown is motivating or turning off the players.
Brown’s brutal honesty hasn’t thrilled Isiah Thomas. When last week’s Stephon Marbury war erupted, Isiah told Brown to ease up. But Brown, 65, will do what he wants, and was stunned he had to take a media-training class in preseason

I hope Dolan does an honest to goodness search this time for the best pres. Not those consultants who suggested that Mills should be the GM. I wouldnt mind Mills going back to being president if Gaines got promoted to GM though. Would be nice to see someone in-house earn the job. From what I've read he is a free thinker, not a company man. Might rule him out, but I would prefer Gaines to a celebrity hire.

President is more powerful than GM, right? So you'd rather see Mills and Dolan be the two most powerful people in the organization?
