Age: 28

Per-Game Stats: 18.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.3 blocks

Advanced Metrics: 17.0 PER, minus-2.75 RPM, minus-83.63 TPA

If you think Derrick Rose belongs any higher, your reasoning likely falls into one of two lines of thought: Either Rose's name and the remnants of his MVP reputation have swayed you, or you can't get past the fact he's averaging 18 points and 4.4 assists. No matter which school of thought you subscribe to, you'd be looking past his atrocious defense (which often involves little-to-no effort), his set-commandeering tendencies and his lack of floor-spacing ability.

Defense is coached!! If a player isn't playing D.(that you practice AGAIN that you practice) then you take him out an point out his mistakes. Yes/NO?? Never so Jeff do that with anybody, period. Is playing defense solely Rose?? It's easy for you to write that Rose doesn't play defensive, very easy. But who is responsible for team defensive?? It the coach, GustavBahler!! Nowhere have you mention any the other 4 players on the court with Rose. Where is the rim protection, where is the players that switches if you man get pass you?? Lack of floor-spacing?? Please that happen if all the players are moving without the ball. C'mon you guys can say somethings that average no bb knowledge will say, 'yeah that right'. Try that one someone that doesn't know BB.

Another realgm refugee......

Why very little to say, Huh??
If you knew anything about 'Real BB' then you would have more to say to back up those statement. They are of course with any merit so you just say "another realgm refugee".

I have more to say to adults. I posted some stats and you respond with a tantrum. Like I said, another realgm refugee...

You correct in posting stats.
If you act like an adults then you will be treated like one. I responded and called you out on statement you made Rose defense. I asked you several questions that are basic knowledge to anyone that knows the game of 'Real BB'. You never answered or responded to either. When there is no answer and no idea how to respond it seen to always come back to someone else maturity.
GO LEARN THE GAME!!

Why do you have very little to say about what I've posted about rose?

Knickoftime,
You know less than GustavBahler. JUST POSTING SOMETHING!! NO QUES TO WHAT YOU ARE POSTING!!

I don't know what the means but I know it means you're unable to answer.

Appreciate the attempt to save face, however.

It would be better to ask him why knicks. The only possible reason is that Knicks is the last NBA team would sign him.

If he has any choice, I don't think he will.

SUGGESTION: find someone that knows 'Real BB' and learn from them. NOT ESPN because they will say things to cause attention for rating. Same for the radio talk shows. Most are GARBAGE!!!

Derrick Rose doesn't deserve this
Another knee surgery is a gut punch to Chicago fans that have followed Derrick Rose since he was a kid.

Nobody wins in the Derrick Rose trade

At least Bulls fans can move on? At least the Knicks didn’t give up a first-round pick? That’s all either side has at this point.

The highs and lows with Rose were so dramatic it was impossible to separate them from your own life. I remember being at party when Rose hit his first game-winner against the Rockets and getting thrown across the room out of pure jubilation. I remember jumping on my furniture when he dunked against the Knicks. I remember passing around whiskey pulls with my friends and watching the saddest music videos we could think of when he suffered his second season-ending knee injury in Portland.

The highs and lows with Rose were so dramatic it was impossible to separate them from your own life.

Why do you have very little to say about what I've posted about rose?

Because it's pointless arguing with rickyd. Rose is atrocious which is blindingly obvious both if you watch him or look at his stats. If the Knicks bring him back it's a huge mistake. He's not even a good bench guy. He skipped a farging game and went MIA. And if I had a dollar for every time he missed a wide open KP to take one of super awesome penetration drives I'd be rich. Rose bl0ws.

knickstorrents @ 7/1/2017 10:25 PM
I think Rose is one of those guys that just never really learned to play the right way and always relied on his athletic ability. He was able to get by on it until the knee injuries. Not sure why we are discussing him, he's a horrid basketball player, he's at best around 8th on your lineup for a middling eastern conference playoff team.
CashMoney @ 7/2/2017 12:18 PM
Why Rose? Because we're the Knicks.

I'm not asking you to agree with it, but I honestly can't fathom what the reasoning would be for such a move. I thought the organization was at peace with the idea of lowering expectactions and developing younger guys. He was an awful fit with Porzingis and has one tool. Any insight into the Knick thinking? Just heard on ESPN radio now that the Knicks are "definitely interested" in resigning him.

Maybe they want to lose

I think with less focus on the triangle, no rape case, better chemistry with kp, no phil distractions, a better back-up than jennings, JH running his own show. I think he's worth a 2nd chance, we dont have any other options

Lol. Pretty much sums up why the Knicks are one of the worst franchises in all of sports, an unmitigated shit show of awfulness and loser mentality.
