I don't know what the deal is with this kid but perhaps under the right circumstances he can finally develop into a solid player. He's got the physical tools. I prefer him to messing around with Rose again. GEEZ!
Seems like he might have been a potential Triangle guard...not sure why we would be interested unless we got him on a Jennings or KOQ type deal.
MCW seems to wear out his welcome in short order. Players like that you sign to short deals and make them earn a bigger one.

I feel the same way.
I don't mind mcw, very good defense, good passer. Would he come off the bench ? Frank is already there plus he can shoot... I see frank starting over MCW
This is the kind of move the Knicks should be making...somewhat young talent that may have not gotten a fair opportunity on other teams....MCW was thought to be a Shawn Livingston type player...he def has talent, but we cant break the bank on him.
I'd rather take risks with players like this on small contracts than overpay aging vets

Agreed...No Rose!
MCW 2-3 years ago put up 15 ppg, 6 reb, 7 assists, 1.5 steals for Philly in 41 games before getting traded. Of course, he only shot 38% and averaged 4+ turnovers. There's good and bad to him. If you can get him on the cheap (which I would think you could), I would take him over Rondo.
He is another guard who cant shoot. I am not interested.
How many guards played over him? He's awful. No thanks to he or Rose.
He is ok, he can rack up assists and some steals, but we need to get him cheap. I would rather have Rondo

I think he's more of an up and down, transition guy. He becomes invisible in a half-court offense. I agree, he's a good option if he's cheap. Who knows? Maybe he develops a J and turns the corner.
Mcw needs to develop a jumpshot. He's been in the league too long for him not to have one yet.... at Tge same time if he did have a jump shot we wouldn't be talking about him cuz he'd be untouchable.
I like the idea of him playing 2,3 and 1 for us. He needs to be groomed in that way. He's not a starter... but he's valuable to a winning situation. He could be Igudala or Shaun Livingston...
MCW to the Hornets. 1yr/2.7M. so much for that.

Its starting to look more like Rondo.

Let's hope. There's another former Chicago guard lurking around out there.
