Knicks · Justin HOliday Appreciation THread... (page 1)

In a very disappointing and frustrating season, he was one of the few bright spots. He came along as essentially a throw-in in the Noah deal, and ended up not only out performing Noah by a long shot, but he improved in all areas of his game with an expanded role off the bench.

On a team that played little to no defense, when he came in the game, our defense instantly improved. He had the best +/- on our team and hit many clutch shots during the year. He became an instant offense player who still played within the offense. He was the epitome of a team player.

He became one of my favorite players last year. I wish we could have kept him to grow with our young core. I'm going to miss him, but wish him the best in Chicago. He's a great story of perseverance and finally earning a nice contract. Good luck Justin! I'm going to miss screaming: "Holidaaaay, Celebraaaaa!" when you hit big shots.

I liked Justin Holiday. I'll miss Justin Holiday. There, I said it.

His old team and his old coach both wanted him. I thought he was going to get about 8 mil a year. Maybe this snt as big a deal because the Knicks aren't all in on the triangle but Holiday was a nice player on a reasonable contract. At some point the Knicks need to commit to some Gus for roster continuity.

Holiday was worth $8 mill a year so the team missed out in not resigning him for $5 mil. I appreciate his hardwork for the team and wish him well.

He was okay, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over losing him

This should be the Knicks appreciation thread started by Holiday. His play with the Knicks allowed him to quadruple his salary.

I liked his effort and attitude. Best of luck going forward (surprised he didn't land in NO with his brother)

He is a good player. I miss him too. Sure he will not be a superstar, but he played hard.
