Ben McLemore has agreed to a 2 year, nearly $11M deal with Memphis, league sources tell ESPN. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0673353965756225912-4 …[/Tweet]
First losing Holiday to a cheap deal to the Bulls. Now McLemore signs with Grizz for a cheap 2 yr contract. He's 24. Perfect player for us to target for our rebuild. We couldn't offer this? I really hope we get Waiters.
Not a loss. He was Junq. Trash in Sacramento.

He would've been a nice reclamation project. It amazes me low his basketball IQ was coming into the league. He needed to play college hoops longer. But you're right, not a loss.
i thought it was good mills was doing nothing

Same here. We'll be better served preserving that cap space into the season and then acting as a 3rd team to help facilitate trades financially. Those teams add to their cache of draft picks, acting in such a capacity and usually it only involves expiring contracts anyway.

It is the best, but let's hope the roads don't lead to d rose. If they do I want a one year deal and that's it.
I'm comfortable going into the season with what we have.our main goal should be to get a top 3 pick. Not to make the media happy with b grade talent. It's time to tank for doncic

I agree. If we can pick up a low first rounder or high second rounder with our cap space it will be worth it. Now we need to sign Dotson to a cheap 3-4 year deal.
I would have liked to have taken a risk on him

Thus isn't slavery. These players can sign anywhere they want to sign. Ben was born in St Louis.... Memphis is a 4 hour drive from there. Maybe he wanted to be close to home... He was born in 1993... Maybe he was raised a Grizzly fan?

Yeah, Knick fans have a weird sense of entitlement, that EVERY free agent should want to sign here and that it's just inept management that stops them.

I am still patiently waiting Mills to work his magic. God damn McLemore didn't want to sign here. We don't even have a prez...wait, maybe we just don't have a GM.

We are so bad that we don't even know what we don't have.
Anyway, where is our GM? where is our FA? I thought everyone were coming! So is this called strategic patience?

Let's wait for the dust to settle before proclaiming Mills is sleeping. McLemore ain't all that and we can't sign everybody who is available. McLemore-like players are a dime a dozen.
We place value on guys based on Draft and think they are worth more. Sac let him walk.
Best to admit mistake and move on. Grizz think otherwise. Good for both.
Mills is not a sleep. there is no upgrade.
