Knicks · If our plan is to play uptempo like Horny's Suns... (page 1)

Why not bring back Derrick Williams? He played pretty well here 2 years ago, likes to run, is athletic and won't cost much...

Also think Jonathan Simmons would be a decent option as he plays hard, good on D, and comes from a winning system. Wonder what his price would be?

Who else could be cost effective options to help us with our defense and uptempo games??

Channing Frye.

To run the offense the way Hornacek actually coaches and has proven to be effective, you need a true Stretch 5 and at least 4 combo guards deep on your roster. The Knicks would need to be able to run out three combo guards, NBA starting caliber ones, at the same time.

Sadly guys who could slightly help the Knicks short term might all end up Warriors ( Casspi just signed with them, Nick Young might end up there, Jamal Crawford after his buyout might end up there)

How the Knicks would get Frye, I don't know.

Melo & C.Lee for Love & C.Frye works

Love, Kuz, KP, Marcus Smart and Dion Waiters... That's a playoff team

Pick up Cat Barber and/or Pierre Jackson.

Smart and Waiters are both well below average basketball players.

Because he couldn't guard you? Don't we already have a scoring forward who doesn't defend?

I would just love to get some (or any) sort of help with perimeter defense with this crew. Summer league looks like all we're doing is hoping to jack more threes than the other team... LOL

100% accurate. It a God awful group. Why didnt we draft DEonte Burton with 58? An athletic defender? I dont mind a three point shooter but we have nothing off the dribble. The bigs are TERRIBLE Plumlee Hayes Kornett Laybrdie--they all sck.

Wow, how bad was the 2011 draft where Williams was picked second. Bad!!!!!
