Yeah. So much BELLYACHING from jaded Knicks fans. They haven't even thought about the NEW CORE and it's possibilities as a unit.
Doesn't mean they will get enough wins right away.
But I rather invest a few years in a Ntilikina/Hardaway backcourt that has an average age of 22.5 and not much NBA experience, meaning that there is possibilty of improved play and results VSInvest in Teague or Rose or whatever vet PG on a massive contract on his way down, with Lee who while a solid player, gives us an average age of about 30 years with most likely declining production each year.
I don't think fans realize this but we have 4 positions now where the players are either going to be on an incline or not decline
Willy (Can improve still)
KP (still far from fully reaching his potential)
Hardaway (25 and had his best year, athletic prime and best year ahead of him)
Ntilikina (A baby by NBA terms, has lots of improvements that can be made).
We need to relax and let Gains, Phil's plans be executed by Mills.
It's not that bad so far.
This is Mills plan. Phil didn't like Hardaway as a player. Phil probably brings back Rose with some/all of the money given to Tim.
Mills top adviser is Gaines
There has been little change in our plans
Two days before he was removed, Phil said he was focused on getting better wings

I think Mills works with Jamie Matthews more. That was who Phil said would be taking care of the front office stuff with Mills while he mentored. Phil also said he was impressed by Rose at his exit meeting and might bring him back. We will never know but we do know that Phil traded Tim.

Next to go was Tim Hardaway, Jr., who was selfish, defenseless, and incredibly immature. In exchange, New York received the No. 19 draft pick, which translated into Jerian Grant.

The tone of the quote sounds personal..."Incredibly immature?" Bringing back Hardaway does not look like a phil move at all...
What did you see wit your own eyes? I saw a Tim as all that in a knick uniform, then. Saw a vastly improved player last year.
Kid took care of business.
I suppose because knicks did this and Mills we can't get open minded? What if this was Gaines idea? Or Spurs wanted to sign him? I suppose that makes us feel better? Yeah!!!!!
