Didn't Melo agree to waive his no trade clause to Houston AFTER the Rockets traded for C.Paul? Before that, reports were that he was only interested in moving to Cleveland.
So its safe to assume that the Houston Rockets never planned for a Melo trade prior to Paul because they felt they didn't have chance to acquire him.
We should do a straight up trade of Melo with the Rockets. I'd take back Anderson (who isn't a ballhog at least and is better than Melo is at this stage plus much younger) along with Qi, Hartenstein and a #1 pick.
