Frank would be able to make up for Kyries bad defense. I'd rather trade melo and the 2018 and 2020 picks then trade melo with Frank. Plus you have Hornaceks two guard lineup right there for his phoenix offense.

Strong opinion for someone that has yet to play one second in an NBA game.

Not really a strong opinion. Franks potential is at his biggest until he plays a game. The Knicks need to give the kid a shot. Im ok with trading 1 future pick and possibly a 2nd.... not 2018 though. It would have to be 2019 and 2021 if that's at all possible. The Knicks need next years pick to expedite thus rebuild. Make no mistake.... the Knicks still would have work to do even weigh Kyrie on The roster
Other than age Melo is still top 10 offensive player...people acting like ha a scrub with that being said I'm not send 2 future draft picks or Frank
They're is no need to trade any picks of any kind for Kyrie. We already have a no defense ball hogging chucker, if it's a straight up trade where we swap one for the other and exchange smaller pieces like KOQ and Kuz that's one thing. We need to build the offense around KP and see what we have. Kyrie trade will kill that for the same reasons that Melo and Rose killed KPs growth in year two.

All for giving Frank a shot. But not if it holds up getting a proven All Star who is only 25. One thing that I mentioned, on another thread, is that the Knicks will need to show KP that they are not going to be in rebuild status for the next 5 to 10 years. Or he will be outta here in 2019. This move shows him we are committed to building but not losing. Hopefully a deal like Melo, Lee and no picks gets it done but doubt it Also, we just dont know what the Cavs think of Frank. Cant say anyone thinks anything of him just yet.

Good that increases the number of things you know to a grand total of two. I am proud of you.

The chances of that 1 lottery pick bringing us a multi time All Star , a player that made an all NBA team before the age of 25 is some very long odds, I would agree that 2 is pushing it, but the people who won't give up 1 for Kyrie are insane.
