Supposedly they asked Stanton before the trade and he was fine with DHing. He said in his previous experience he enjoyed it. Not sure why you care. We didn't get Stanton for his defense and if its going to keep him healthier then thats fine. He still will play the OF to give judge and Gardner rests.
If he’s fine with it then I am fine with it. I care because I don’t want any clubhouse drama. You know full well that affects how the team can play.

You can talk to players on other teams about the position they'd play if you traded for them?

Batting average? What is this - 1990? He had a .365 on base % in NY. His OPS and WAR last year were about the same as Machado's. I think he's going to be drastically underpaid.

As a Met fan I gotta admit it sucks that things are back to the way they were with the yanks as a contender and the mets floundering. But I gotta give credit to the Yankees. they had a few tough years but they obviously drafted very well and made some good moves that helped them get back into contention. also they basically fleeced Miami to get Stanton. So Now the yankees look primed for another title run

while i agree with you about fraziers play here in NY (it was great and id like him back) but, i think comparing him to manny machado on arguably his worst offensive year to prove a point, is a little foolish.

I was just saying Frazier had a great year. I wasn't saying they've had equal careers.

For the record, Frazier struck out in 22% of his plate appearances. You know what the Yankees' percentage as a team was? 22%
