Done and done!
MasaZERO! and then Kahnle goes beast mode again.
And the Sanchise rips one out just to rub the MLB's best offense's nose in it!!! Loved that game!
Series like this make John Sterling worthwhile. Not sure what that's worth, but hey.
One mo.

Tanaka has been sensational. I'm starting to wonder if he's going to opt out. It would be gutsy, maybe even a little disrespectful after having such a poor regular season. But the Yankees might be thinking they simply can't afford to lose him.

IMHO, let him opt out. Where and when is some other franchise going to match his contract next year? Some GM is going to hand him more than $70 million as he heads into his thirties? Like you said, he's not here because of his regular season. He's along for the ride right now, and he's pitching insanely well.

I say “what.”

Guys look like they're seeing Verlander better than game 2. Hopefully get something going our 2nd time through the order.
That Springer catch was a killer.
Game 7 today! We have to rely on CC one more time.

He was masterful. Gotta tip your hat, but he's not pitching in game 7
Obviously this is a series that home field is playing it out.
BabyBombers getting some serious education. The pitching came together at the right time and they are in a slugfest
with the best team in the AL. Its nice when win or lose one can be happy with a season that has already exceeded most expectations!
CC looks "Pained" all the time. He looked like he was stressed out last nite on the bench!!!
Not sure how this chapter ends but its been a hell of a ride!!!
Top of the order goes down but Morton's pitches don't like too sharp. Outside of that breaking ball to get Didi to strike out, his strikes have been middle of that plate without much movement. If CC hangs in there, I'm feeling good about tonight!
Great grab by Judge! Robs another hr! Stros are hitting CC pretty well so far, fortunately they're going right to tnt defense.

One of the best catches I have ever seen. Yeah, they're hitting CC really hard. It's worrisome.
1-0. It was 0-0 when I started typing that previous message. It's only 1-0 but CC is not looking good. I think you have to take him out now.

Agreed. Astros starting teeing off early. Fortunate that only one of those swings wound up meaning a damn.
Edit: 2 on now. CC out. Tonight just wasn't his night...hope we can give him another go this post season...
Well taking out CC now only proves my point about the game against Cleveland.
1 HR, 3 walks, 5 hits, and many more hard hit balls in 3.1 innings from CC. We're really fortunate it's only 1-0. It could easily be 5-0.

Agreed!

If you say so
Cleveland? You mean the game 9 k's through 4+ innings? Night and day. Never came close to looking that comfortable tonight.
