Didn't Begley say he thought Melo was going to go training camp with the Knicks on Hahn's show last week?
I like him, but why does this have to be about melo, he's a guy that can cover if KOQ or lance continue to play with great inconsistency

I can't believe that people still think a Houston trade is still in the works
We needed scoring off the bench and Beasley gives us just that. I do like the signing.

He is a less talented Melo clone as far as game goes. That's the comparison. Huge underachiever in his NBA career. Don't dislike the signing on a 1 yr deal b/c we will need some scoring (especially if Melo is moved).

Did I say that? Simply said they play the same position and do the same thing (similar skill set). Although Beasley is less talented. Draw your inferences from that.

that said, I don't read any more into this than our recent history... Derrick Williams, Brandon Jennings, Michael Beasley--these guys kind of fit a pattern
this is strange though I don't mind. he could end up like derrick Williams who turned out to be a decent bench player for us. melo has to be moved because it would be a glut with him and lance Thomas.
