Knicks · How about Kuz to the Suns for Derrick Jones and their 2019 2nd pick (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 9/28/2017 5:27 PM
They lost a big with Williams going down and they are thin at the 4.

I think they liked Kuz last year

Jones gives us that 6-7 long athletic player at the 3 who can really help on defense and as a finisher off the bench.

Never sell a Lithuanian short. They are nuts. Remeber Marciuolonis, Sabonis, Ilgauskas. You DO NOT sell a Lithuanian for American dipshit. They are born to compete and win. They are fcuking 2.5 million and collecting medals for 30 years now. You just do not sell a leitis for a lazy shithead.

Don't know much about Jones but do like his body and D potential but I don't think Kuz can even get us that package. Already 28(?) and piss poor defender.

This is type deal we might need to settle for using KOQ -- depending on how Knicks would view Jones.

Personally I'm holding out hope that Harkless can still be had...given part of Melo rumors and I think new GM was with him in Orlando (not sure).

How about something like KOQ/Lee/Kuz for Harkless/Davis

I always think--the bigger the deal--the harder it is to complete.

Im looking smallish move. I like Jones defensive potential--hes got long arms and he one of the better athletes in the NBA. Harkless David makes more sense for Po to keep?

Agree on both points above Briggs - just think Kuz has very little trade value. That said if he stays -- hopefully he has solid year.

Phoenix gave Warren a nice contract drafted Jackson who is too skinny right now to play mostly 4. They did lose Williasm for the beginning of the season and at 6-10 maybe Kuz can help fill a gap there? I just think in a season of rebuilding--I mean we have to many similar players at 3--we could use the defensive athleticism and length off the bench. At 1.3 mm hes cheap to check out for a year. I wanted to swipe Troy Williams last year when he was open but we didnt.
Id like to try Harkless to LL but I dont see PDX giving him up unless they got something better back.

Kuz Oquinn and our second round pick for Harkless makes sense.

You remove a gut at the frontline but add a quality young guy in Harkless.

Portland gets a bargsin big in OQuinn and a better 3 point shooter in Kuz.

We get rid of our second round pick, but we still have chicago's pick and abundance of young players.

Kanter/Hernangomez/Noah
KP6/Thomas
Harkless/Beasley/Doug
Lee/Baker/Dotson
Frank/sessions/Jack

Briggs I've seen you post a number of threads/posts on trading Kuz to the Suns. I just don't think he has any value. Especially for a high 2nd round pick
