New York City's subway system might be the only thing causing more frustration in the Big Apple than the Knicks. The dysfunctional entities recently merged in an FS1 ad campaign that prompted riders to choose between optimism and nihilism.

I appreciate what they were trying to do, but it fell down a bit on the execution.

Unlike in years past, I think we have a bright future, so even though we might lose a lot this year, at least they are finally rebuilding.

still need to see progress, you cant lose a ton of games and think that's progress

It is not how many games team lost but how this games are lost.
If team gives an effort and stick to execution and the system but lost to superior competition its still a progress.
If team lost like Knicks lost most the games in recent years due to luck of direction, system, commitment, and identity its another story.
For now we have no team, just collection of pieces which need to be evaluated and build into the team.
Ground zero basically. So the process will take a while.
