Papabear Says
My Knicks friends. I just got out of the hospital recently suffering from a tumor. I was in my right ear going to the back of my head. I had lost hearing in my right ear totaly. Now you guys know that i am a record producer, arranger and conductor plus writer. All that is now on hold. But I can hear out of my right ear
I was in Mount Syni in New York. They removed the tumor and it was not cancer. I still can't hear in my right ear and as you know I'm in my 70s. They say in a few month my hearing my come back. They say don't let things upset you and make your blood pressure rise. (hey I love watching the Knicks)
Anyway I just might be a one ear producer just waiting to have that feeling again of the Knicks winning a championship.
I know you're glad to be out of there Papabear. I know its rough that you lost your hearing in one ear.
Its still good to know that you can continue doing what you love. If anyone can work around it, its you.
Continued success!
Good luck! Hope you are feeling better soon.
Glad to hear that you are okay. Good luck with your recovery. Go Knicks.

I think bootsy collins had an op for an ear tumor recently too. I'm glad it wasn't cancerous, though it feels cruel that your hearing has been affected. I hope the Knicks are the tonic you need!
Papabear I fell in the love Knicks recovering from cancer.. a speedy recovery to you man. Best wishes. Not sure the Knicks are the relaxing type of activity (unless your baked) but enjoy nonetheless!
Many more long days and pleasant nights to you sir,
fish
Glad you're okay, out of the hospital and home safe and sound. I just took my dad to the hospital about 2 weeks ago to get a large cyst removed from his back. Surgery went well -- out patient, wrapped up in about a half hour & turned out to be nothing (benign like they suspected) but I was worried about him. Best of luck with your hearing. Hope it returns soon. Go Knicks!
Best wishes and a speedy recovery. Go NY go NY go!
I can fully empathize with you on the loss of hearing as I'm a Musician, Songwriter and Engineer as well. I'm praying not just for your overall health but that your hearing returns

.
Wishing a speedy recovery and lots of future musical productions
Get well soon a do not be upset with the kids... I mean Knicks...
Good to see that you are doing well and are in good spirits. If you feel your blood boiling while watching the Knicks, just think about that potential #1pick...that should ease the pain
I still struggle with you referring to yourself as a 3rd person..

I hope you don't talk like that
but get well soon
I am glad that the tumor was benign. Sorry that you lost your hearing. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a full recovery. Don't think we will win many games this year but hopefully something good comes of this new chapter. We will definately need patience.
No cancer? Hell yeah! Glad to hear it Papabear.
Ayy! Great news to hear!I hope your hearing comes back ;I don't know how you do it. I got tinnitus in one ear a couple summers ago and I just couldn't bear it.
Awesome news, glad to hear you came through it okay.
Glad to see you are well. Hopefully there will be some good basketball to watch and listen to soon.
