We will regret this singing for a long time. Still same sucky player
fishmike @ 10/9/2017 8:16 PM
hey. At least papabear doesnt have a tumor.
GustavBahler @ 10/9/2017 8:27 PM
What has surprised me about THJ's game is his transition offense, including passing the ball in transition. Didn't show that the last time he was here.
TPercy @ 10/9/2017 8:32 PM
I don't get it. He wasn't this same player last year. Anywhoo the day is still early
TPercy @ 10/9/2017 9:24 PM
I just got the joke. Soft is opposite of Hard thats why its Softaway. I'm slow as hell

Seriously, that's like saying every every bucket Harden scored, the Knicks didn't, so they counted like double. Makes zero sense.

meloshouldgo @ 10/9/2017 10:09 PM
LOL - the defense is starting to show
Jmpasq @ 10/10/2017 8:23 AM
The Knicks are a disaster so what else is new. Phil will be vindicated when Porzingis signs somewhere else in FA leaving us in the crapper for an extra 4 years. You can't lean on this guy as the centerpiece, Phil knew it, tried to trade him for picks to give the Knicks a 2 year window to add multiple lottery picks. Fans flipped out and Phil got fired. Now the only thing positive about this team is that they will be awful and we might get Doncic or Porter.

or the fact that harden played 37 mins Timmy played 27

He is alright, at best he is a middling starting SG. He won't contribute to winning but I don't think he will be a net negative. Harden is very good, im not really surprised Hardaway can't compete with him

maybe to you, but your math stinks if it does.
If the Rockets went on a 20 point run to start the game every Rocket starter would be +20 and every Knick starter would be -20. Are the Knicks losing by 40? No. There is no "40 point swing."

But dont let me detract from your awesome softaway thread. Enjoy.

I was impressed with the way THJ was mixing drives to the rim with jumpers. No one can really hang with Harden offensively in that system.

I thought as far as the offense went, Hardaway acquitted himself, he wasnt staying behind the rim and taking bad shots.

Defensively Im surprised that anyone is complaining about not being able to defend an MVP runner up, someone elite defenders have trouble with.

knicks1248 @ 10/10/2017 12:00 PM
THJ, should be playing on the rockets, so does KP, their development would be so much better. THJ was able to get better by playing on a winning team, and they brought him along slowly and taught him a little defense.

thats not what happened at all with THJ and many of the best players in the league spent their first years on losing teams. Guys from Steph Curry to Michael Jordan.

to my eyes there was no bright spot in this game, but the two guys who played well were Dotson and THjr. The only thing I have seen in preseason worth repeating is that Lee/Dotson/THjr look good, and I would have 2 of those 3 on the floor most of the time.
