Dont get me wrong--lets kick their arses in the game--but I think starting a team friendly campaign with LBJ to start the process of looking towards free agency would be prescient.

No.
Hell no. We don’t want that petty crybaby, he’s been dogging us every chance he gets. He’d never come here anyways.

Lebron hates the knicks even before phil. He was always bitching about how melo was mistreated even during linsanity. He aint coming here and truthfully thats perfectly fine. We are building something good here for a change. We are gathering pieces that fit instead of just going after the "sexy" name
We kissed his butt before and it didn't work. Why would we even think of doing it now? Lebron already knows what he wants to do. No amount of bending over is going to influence his future plans.

no wonder kyrie wanted to get the hell out of there.

He knew Lebron was outta there after this year. Kudos to Kyrie for determining his own future versus being another Lebron pawn. The amount of disrespect he showed Kyrie by continuing to call him "kid" reveals a lot about him. Let him take his sideshow to L.A.

ive never liked lebron. Even as a rookie i sensed the arrogance. Even in 2010 i wasnt that heartbroken he wasnt here even though i know the team would have been obviously a contender. Truthfully i dont think he can handle NY. Lets be honest in miami they dont really care about basketball like in ny and cleveland is his home
hell fucking no, fuck lebron. not sure why he's interjecting himself about knicks affairs, but for him to outwardly say that we should have drafted dennis smith jr (a sentiment i disagree with to begin with) is unheard of and uncalled for. fuck this guy so hard.

he thinks he is that important that he can comment on what other teams should be doing. So far his "GM skills" have been terrible. This is really about Phil and the fact that Phil owned him and Lebron cant get over it even though phil is gone now

We've done this before and it got us nowhere. He'll respect us more if we kick the Cavs in the mouth a couple of times this season.

Yeah man every time I try time give him another chance he says something else about us..... said the Knicks should habe drafted dennis Smith Jr. Like worry about your team. So commenting about ours.
Excuse my tin foil hat, but I believe LeBron had an ulterior motive for saying what he did. He's an astute business man, understands how the media works, now. Making a point of saying that Smith jr. should have been chosen over Frank, sounds like he wants to test the rookie Monday. See what he's got.
Why? Maybe LeBron is looking at all his options. Id much rather see KP and the rest of the Knicks be the guys who takes the East crown from him, than LeBron coming to NY. Felt the same way about Jordan.

Agreed also I think lebron knows a beat down is going to be coming for his Cavs on Monday. He’s just bitter already about it, I’m pretty confidant the knicks win by double digits and lebron puts a towel over his head mid way through the 3rd.
this should be the game thread!
I've always loved lebron's game and always root for him to beat the west in the finals. But i don't want him at this point - because of his age and because i want this young team to grow and gel. Chemistry is delicate and we have it right now. I want to grow the squad by trading up in next year's draft - combine our 1 and 2 with whomever is out of the rotation to trade up and continue our youth pipeline.

The best player in the world being worried about getting into the head of a rookie who doesn't even start seems
very far fetched.
Lebron is looking old, we have seen his game now for 14 years. He needs the players around him to be stars to win, right now he has a no defense star in love and a washed up star in wade, everyone else on that team is below average at best. There season is hanging on a 5’7 scorer that has a bum hip to come back and save the season. Hahahahaha it just goes to show Jordan over lebron all day everyday. Jordan wouldn’t let this Cavs team loose because he always lived in the present. Jordan never played with a talent like love at PF and that’s all Jordan needed was a robin. Pippin and role players is all Jordan ever needed to win, Lebron needs a kyrie, love super team or a wade, bosh super team.
If lebron cant take love and role players to the chip then the what little debate was left has to be over...
Jordan is still the best ever, lebron’s Not even close.

Thats not what I said. Not even close. LeBron is not worried about anything. I am suggesting that LeBron is keeping his future plans open. Frank is supposed to be the PG of the future for the Knicks, James might want to find out just how far along he is. How Frank responds to a challenge from the best.
