Happy T-day fellow Knicks fans. In between getting the Turkey and the sides out of the oven...was thinking about what I'm thankful for this Knicks year.
Overall - we're winning and headed in the right direction.
1. The organization is pointed in the right direction - we are on the upswing
2. We have good leadership in key roles - I think Mills, Perry, and Hornacek are the right triumvirate to bring us a chip.
3. We have KP! The unicorn is a Knick and he's healthy (knock on wood, or turkey)
4. We have other very solid young talent - Timmay! Kanter! McBuckets, Lee, etc.
5. We have great young assets - Frank, Dotson, Willy and all our picks
6. We are playing as a team, playing awesome defense, and winning!
Lots to be thankful for as a Knick fan this year.
Agreed. After 17 years of terrible mismanagement we finally look like we are going in the right direction. The team has been better than expected and they seem like a tight group which is great to see. Its also great that we not only have all our picks but additional ones as well
Tons of stuff but a couple of quick thoughts.
The Kanter/McBuckets trade.
Phil being gone.
Hornacek coaching without triangle interference.
Scott Perry.
Tim Hardaway.
Jarrett Jack.

Aesthetically pleasing team basketball and a nice young core to follow. Things are finally looking up for the franchise.
Happy about direction
Reduction in drama
Team chemistry
Players who want to genuinely win here
Thankful for every single shred of knicks hoops. I pinch myself during every game, even the losses.

Well said.
Thankful for finally getting a real NBA point guard.
Thankful for finally getting a center that can play with his back to the basket
Thankful for the organization for finally removing P. Jackson and allowing people to their jobs

Thankful that since ditching Phil and trading Melo the Knicks have avoided the circus like atmosphere that has hung around them like a stink on sh!t since Isaiah, or maybe even before that. They've gotten down to business. I hope it stays that way.
Also, grateful for seeing some great team play, no more boring ISO or hero ball. Great contributions from everyone. When everyone is involved their spirits are up and they press less when they get the ball.
Finally, grateful that THjr has settled down and didn't keep in as a dreadful chucker. I'm glad he's driving and doing other things.
