We will do something stupid, but this win helps give us a bit of a safety buffer
MIA, MIL, and 2 games against CLE. All of those teams have incentive to win games for playoff standings.
Actually I've just remembered- any teams that are tied in the lottery get the odds split basically evenly between them, with the coin flip only determining an extra small fraction
Latest picture:
6) Kings 25-54
Remaining games: Griz, Spurs, Rockets
Notes: Not a hope in hell of catching them- won't beat Spurs or Rockets
7) Nets 26-53
Remaining games: Bulls, Bulls, Boston
Notes: ideally I'd like them to win both Bulls games
8) Bulls 27-51
Remaining games: celtics, Nets, Nets, Pistons
Notes: Best case is to lose both Nets games then win vs the pistons
9) Knicks 27-51
Remaining games: Heat, Bucks, Cavs, cavs
Notes: We'll win at least one of these due to stupidity
So absolute best case is if the Nets win both vs Bulls, then the bulls win vs Pistons. That would give us 7th outright (if we tie we have to share the odds evenly)
Let's not draft a PG...they're too risky and take too long to develop. Just roll with Frank, Trey and Mudiay.
Mikal or Carter. Those are the two that I would want picking #8 or #9.

Off topic, but anyone know what Maurice N'Dour is up too?
You can’t make this ish up!!!!!
the worst franchise in sports, we gained nothing from this season, our best players knee explodes and we end up with a late lottery pick, pathetic

Yep can't deny it. The Knicks are the worse team in sports

I watch him play once in a while in the Euroleague. To be hinest he is pretty irrelevant. Not doing anything special here.
Are we officially the dumbest franchise in sports?!
The cavs may lose to us on purpose to assure we don't pass the Nets, thats what a smart franchise does. This has been one of the worst seasons of Knicks basketball and we have nothing to show for it. This roster sucks huge balls and picking 9th or 10th when someone jumps us won't change our fortunes. I hope this franchise is happy with their choices because Im sick of them. Signing Hardaway Jr. to assure the few extra wins that has destroyed the chances at getting someone like Ayton, Porter, or Doncic. A player who paired with Porzingis could get us to eventually turn the corner. Instead we will add a another role player as we watch the 76ers and Celtic dominate the Atlantic for the foreseeable future. The morons in our Front office will continue to make asinine short term moves that gain us marginal improvement. Just enough to keep us in the 8-12 range. Smart teams will grab the talent at the top of the draft, keep cap flexibility, and pile up assets. Thats why a move like Briggs suggests for Parker makes sense, we have zero chance grabbing marginal talents like Hardaway jr. At least Parker has 25ppg scorer capability. A player like that could change the franchises fortunes. If we are going to swing, lets swing for the fences

Cavs in the playoff hunt not draft tank.

Yes but they own the Nets pick, so they every reason to let the Knicks win and assure the Nets giving up a higher pick

There is no way they want to drop from #3 seed in east to #4 (or even worse 5th). They ain’t thinking about draft position, they playing to win.

I really hope your right, that means we should lose both games
We all know we will lose any coin toss (as happened last year I think), so really we need the Nets to beat the celtics. Celtics have nothing to play for so hopefully they rest their main players. nets have nothing to tank for so hopefully pride kicks in for them.
Bulls will not allow themselves to win.
We are so unbelievably dumb we will go for the win.

amazing how bad we sucked since Porzingis went down and how little ground we made up
