We tend to overlook the benefit of our G League team for our youth development. Keeping player development at a high level has been an important aspect of this team’s future progress.

Thanks also. By the end of the year I hope to see Dotson, Burke, Willy, Frank, KP, Baker, THJ and McDermott getting almost all of the minutes. That's our future.

So Dotson IS in the showcase. I first heard he was, then I heard that was false and stopped paying attention. Good to see him start to come on.

Exactly right. Feel the same way. I think they're at the crossroads right now in the season (push for the playoffs vs. youth development -- and let's face it, they NEVER seem to ever go all in on youth development anyway) AND with Jack playing his best ball, he's gonna continue to get mins.. Just gotta tell ourselves to be patient with Burke seeing court time. Still, I'd like to see the kid incorporated somewhat after the call-up. No reason he shouldn't have gotten some mins. against Memphis, esp. considering how flat we looked most of the game. I thought that's why he's was brought up, no? Not like we had an injury or something..
Thanks for posting those vids, Nix. Man, Dotson looked AWESOME in that first clip! So aggressive. Great to see. And XRM -- didn't see much outta him in SL, wasn't sure he was that good, but he's shown a lot in the G-League. Of the two, Dotson looks more high end though. Just curious what you guys feel about him -- what's his ceiling? Courtney Lee? And anyone feel XRM's an NBA player?

nerves...has Dotson gotten rid of his nerves of playing against bigtime NBA players?

That’s all part of the process that of a rookie in development. The more he gains confidence the better he’ll play. He could be a very nice 3nD role player for this team. He does a little bit of everything.

He's got to get more playing time, even G League. If Cortney Lee is traded, he's the next man up.

I think Dotson has done more than prove he can play for the Knicks. We just don't have a spot for him. We all believe he can take Lee's spot. Dotson just has to wait his turn. He's got next

Interesting little tidbit:
Two-way G-League players Isaiah Hicks and Luke Kornet both practiced with the NBA club Monday.
